Problems with Trainweck seedlings

Help, please. I have several White Widow autos growing next to some Trainwreck (fem). This an indoor grow, the lighting is all platinum leds, big ones overhead, and a small one for some side light. As you can see the WW’s are crushing it, TW wants to die. All seeds are from ilgm! How can I help the TW, they are what I REALLY wanted.

Sorry. I have zero idea what the problem is, I’m a noob (2nd grow), and would greatly appreciate some constructive criticism. Thanks
Peace and love

Also, they both have been in the ground for 30 days. I apologize for the disjointed post and grammatical errors, I’ve had a long day. :persevere:

It looks like a ph issue to me but I am having a hard time telling by the pics. What it you ph and soil etc…?

@ibgone I’d start with a heavy flush, from the color of the perlite in the pot and the discoloration of the leaves most intense at the bottom of the plant and working it’s way up. It looks to be Nutrient burn, The plants may be the same age but they are not the same size… so you’d have to give that one less…way less. Start with a heavy flush but dont take the ppm under 120-150, leave the plant something, but its being stunted badly and it’s clear there’s too many salts in the soil. Run a ppm check on the first runoff you get and if it’s anything over 500 thats too much the plant looks to be 6-8inches tall. Plain ph’d, R/O (?Reverse osmosis water with a touch of Cal MAg…a touch.) to keep it going after the flushing. Always an Opinion, Keep up the good work! Stay Green!

Going to have to agree looks like a PH issue the white widow is a very easy grow I’ve noticed you don’t have to be dead on with your pH levels but with like the Trainwreck it’s something that will show you if it’s not happy make sure your pH is between 6.3 and 6.7 but we definitely need More info

Embarrassingly, I don’t own a soil pH meter. I’ll try to get one at lunch and fill y’all in tonight. Thanks for the help!

It looks like overwatering as well… I would bet that your watering them the same and the little plant dont need as much water as the big plant and I’m sure that by now your ph is way off on both plants , but mainly the little one…

Soil pH meters are not good. buy a pH meter from Amazon and ph your water. Then check pH of run off.

Thanks, I picked a soil meter at lunch today. I’ll order what you suggested tonite, hopefully Amazon will get it here in 48 hours. Can y’all help me out as to which is the best pH monitor for doing an indoor, soil grow?

VMore details:
I’m growing 3 Trainwrecks (fem) side by side with a few autos, mostly White Widows. All of my seeds have come from ILGM, I have been so impressed with their service and support that I have never shopped for seed elsewhere.
All plants have been in the ground for about 1 month.
They are in 2 gallon pots with some type of “organic” potting soil with a little added perlite. I use r/o water 90% of the time but It’s a gardening version that does add some electrolytes to the water (Ca ?).
I water based on the “heft” of the pot, I stick my finger in the dirt and feel it, if in doubt. Overall, I guess I water 2-3x/week.
I have never used fertilizers, they kind of scare me :frowning:
Indoor grow: I’m using 2 Platinum LED 450s overhead, and a 300 and 150 that I move around for side light. They are about 2 feet overhead on the veg setting. They run 18 hr on, 6 hr off.
The grow room is hot, Hi Lo today was 92-84f. Humidity was 56-40%.
Ventilation: I run an oscillating fan while the lights are on, an exhaust fan runs during the hot part of the day when the lights are off.
CO2: none, I think the room is ventilated well enough, but idk.
pH: I have never checked it before. I got a soil pH meter today, it’s reading about 7.8, but I gather I need to be measuring before and after water pH instead. Let me know which meter to purchase and I will get one off Amazon, hopefully w/in 48 hr.
Thanks so much for the help. I vividly remember the bad old days of Silk Road. You guys are the cat’s meow! I’ll post a couple of pics in a minute.

Jack Herer auto next to my biggest TW.

The soil pH meter is not any good for anything but checking moisture content in the soil. You can buy a pH and PPM meter combo for less than $20 on Amazon. Be sure and get an 8oz bottle of pH calibration solution with the meter. I use 7.0 calibration fluid myself. Correct pH is one of the 3 most critical things when growing Cannabis @Ibgone. I’m growing Trainwreck along with Chronic Widow and White Widow this time. Trainwreck is definitely the most finicky of the 3 strains.

This Trainwreck is about 4 weeks old

I have a lot to learn. What are the other two?

Good lights and DON’T over-water. Better to under-watering than over-water. When my plants get big enough around 4 weeks, I intentionally let them go without water until the plant starts drooping. This way I can know how often I need to water to keep them happy.
