Pressing fresh bud

One of the ASC F1s I grew produced a very pronounced Juicy Fruit flavor. I know it was one of the purple ones but I am not sure which one.

I had Gold Leaf I pressed that was like huffing on a can of Lemon Pledge when you dabbed it.

I had some ILGM Blueberry I pressed that was incredible flavor-wise, but the starting material was too dry and my yields sucked on it.

I guess I should have been a little clearer but you answered my question anyways.

I was curious to your most flavorful and favorite method of extraction? Obviously it has been pressing.

I get rebuked when I say it lol but my favourite way so far has been BHO… I’m gonna try your way of pressing this time though and do it the second the bud is dry

That’s a big mouth

Well I haven’t ever tried BHO so I can’t be a judge of whether or not it’s better.

That being said, I am saving up for a closed loop system so I can try it. All the time.

Ya that’s what I thought too.

@dbrn32 was showing me an open blast system that you can buy with the intention of converting out to closed loop if you choose

Take a look at ā€œshopbvv dot comā€

And search

That’s precisely where I am going to purchase one from.

I still need to call them. But looks like you can buy xl mini as open blast system, and get other components later.

@Bogleg. I know this an older subject but i have noticed that i get almost twice the amount pressing right afyer a dry verses after curing for a week 2 or 3 hell even 4 weeks and the shite dont press near as much. 60 to 62 rh not much more or it is too sticky and dont come off the paper right unless u ice pack under the paper to get it super cold but then its like rice krispies kinda and crackles some. Nice flavor right after dry also

Yeah I think the amount of water being held in the buds is a huge factor and that 60-62% is ideal for pressing flower.
