Is the idea to try and keep the PPM going in the same as the runoff? Week 2 of flower and I’m feeding 1500-1800 PPM. My runoff is 2-3 times that. Should I use pH’d CalMag water until the runoff comes back down? Using Fox Farm “trio” nutrients.

Yes, you’re going to want to let that come down. If it doesn’t naturally, a flush will be needed.

If using sledgehammer, then yes. If just using plain water you’re looking at around 3x the amount of your pot size. So if you’re in 5 gallon pots you’ll need around 15 gallons of water

What kind of soil are you using, and did you transplant into new soil just before flower? I ask because I know with the soil I use the runoff PPM’s are ridiculously high for the first several weeks of use. This can trick you into thinking there’s a problem. The organic materials in the soil are breaking down, as they should be, and this shows up in your PPM reading.

@Cap_Ron I’m using an organic soil from Lowe’s. It started out as an experiment seeing if I could get a plant started and turned into a full blown female plant that is doing great.

She looks great. I don’t think I would flush that plant based only on runoff numbers. If anything, slightly reduce your input PPM and see how it goes.

What is the pH of the runoff? When I used soil I ended up paying more attention to pH than ppm. If the pH drops a bunch over time, something like .5 or slightly more, I new salt is building up and need to correct it. With FF trio having to flush is part of the program. At times I would do a mini flush when I see ph consistently dropping with ppm increasing.
I would decrease nutrients and increase the amount of solution in order to have 25% or more runoff. This is just informational at this time.
Looking at your plant I don’t see anything that would cause alarm. However, if ppm don’t start decreasing and ph keeps going down, then some action is called for.

@beardless pH going in 6.4-6.8. The runoff has varied from the start with pH between 5.4-6.1.

Try plain tap water without pH’ing it. That’s the only way for my runoff to come out at 6.4 consistently. When I use pH down my soil started to slowly (see below)

Plant looks great ! I’m with @Cap_Ron I Don’t think I would flush plants happy. Go with PH watering till PPM drops to feeding range.
