Possible hermaphrodite?

Thanks man, I appreciate the constructive criticism. Since it’s my first time, I’m gonna take in all the information I can lol I just wanna get a decent yield to know I’m doing things correctly

I feel you! I am also a new grower but I’m between jobs and my wife won’t let me do anything with the kids (covid) so here I am. I’m reading an unhealthy amount before I’m back to 60 hour weeks

Are your lights on now? Check for leak! Sooner the better you need to solve this quickly. And it’s my pleasure.

I’ll check them tonight when they go out at 7pm. Thanks dude, good luck in your grows!

Wait, you should check when your grow light is on.

Get in the closet. Make sure no light is getting in closet door. With tent sealed up make sure no light is escaping into the pitch black closet your standing inside of…but outside of the tent. Am I making sense lol

I think I’m following. Let me make sure. Tent is inside the closet. Even with the grow lights on, there can’t be any outside light getting in? Or inside light escaping out during the plants “daytime”?

During the 12 hours on, I’ll get into the garden and prune or water. I leave the Closet door open because the tent gets hot sometimes with the lights, but I make sure that the tent is sealed up properly.

During 12 hours off, I turn the exhaust fan down to save power and to make sure it’s not too cold. I turn off every light possible and I rarely go into the tent (or closet for that matter) during 12 hours off.

You are trying to avoid outside light of any kind from getting in when your plants are asleep. Your 12 hours of darkness. You check for this by getting inside the closet. Sealing up your tent as per normal. Closing the closet door. And then turning off the closet light if it has one.

You now make sure no light is getting through cracks of closet door. And also that your grow light is not escaping your tent.

Awsomeeeee got it, thanks dude!

Meaning you found leak and fixed it? If you found none someone else here needs to take over. If you fixed it sweet good luck!

Thought this would be an interesting update. The source of the light leak was a tiny light on the humidifier inside the tent. Sometimes I’d forget the humidifier and leave it on during the plants night time. Thanks for the help!

Gah… Crazy that such a small amount of light can do it. I’ll have to build a dark box for my photos and keeping hauling them in and out because of all the ambient light around here.

sorry to jump in on this but I have just spotted what look like balls its my first time and I’ve only 5 or 6 weeks till done

I think your good…looks like calyx to me. Wait for more experienced growers to chime in

I would just keep an eye on it, as well as your other plants (if you have any more). Make sure to look all over the plant closely. It progressively became more clear that it hermi’d on me and even though I felt like I was a little late, I pulled it and didn’t have any other problems.

I would also become very familiar with your equipment inside your grow tent, as well as knowing exactly how much light (if any) is getting in. I didn’t realize that my humidifier had a tiny light on it and I would forget to turn it off. If you can, also get inside your tent and turn the lights off. Wait about 5 minutes and let your eyes adjust to the darkness. As they adjust, you’ll see that there is more light in the tent than you think. At that point, you’ll be able to identify any leaks and if so, use duct tape to seal up the leak. Shouldn’t be any problems after that. Hope this helps!!
