I’m down to my last two seeds. I started my grow in a camper setting. While in that setting i lost two freshly popped seeds to mice burrowing in my soil or atleast trying to. They killed the little life that had just started. I lost my mind regrouped set traps and started another seed. Everything was good but i recently moved my grow to a new place. I checked on my newly sprouted seed this morning and low and behold a mouse had killed my baby again! WTF!!! The part i can’t wrap my head around is when this happened there was another plant in flower next to the baby’s but that is a bag bean and yet they never touched that one. Is there something I’m missing other than the apparent mouse traps? Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated they have cost me a lot of money now and it’s not like I can claim the germination policy, they all popped!!! Please help!
Being in the country myself, every fall/winter the mice run for heat… Being from the city… It was quite shocking to me at first.
The best I can say is put traps along walls… Find the entry spot put traps there and close the hole… Could be as small as 1/4".
That being said… Mice have never bothered my plants nor entered my tents.
I don’t use regular traps…i use a combination of poison and these:
I currently don’t have/use a tent so it’s easier to get to. I will be buying one now within the next week. Those are the exact traps i used in the camper after my first experience. Do you think the reason they left the adult alone was due to the root system being more developed? Thank you for your piece and time.
Goto the store and buy some green onions, and then plant them into the pots. It will repel the rodents.
Orange peels also work, but you have to keep tossing in a few pieces of rinds, as they dry.

The orange peels? Nope. Just peel an orange and toss some on pots. Like the onion or peppermint, they don’t like the smell.
just spray it all down with some RAID, that should do the trick lol jk
