If you have rich soft soil around that doesn’t clay up when it gets watered you should be fine using just that maybe adding perilite would be helpful for drainage if thats available to you in your area
@Majiktoker I have 20 liters perlite but I didnt use them. And I couldn’t understand what you explained sorry=/
What im worried about @zanor is the soil nutrients being to high for your seedlings. Its a very common mistake i made the same mistake myslef. Im afraid if we dont get them into new soil they may die because the nutes are cooking your seedlings. Im thinking majiktoker is saying you can use it but it has to be light and fluffy soil not hard clay like dirt. I read a little on your countries MJ cultivation and you guys have been growing for thousands of years with great succes using your outdoor environment. Im thinking you might be able to use your dirt from Big forest and try and mix some perilite into that soil so it will drain better in your pots.
@TokersHaven Thank you. Yes outdoor environment is really good in some regions in my country. I can take soil and mix with perlite. But how can I change the soil without harming roots? Is it possible? I can see roots all around pot.
And I also found another type of soil in local market now. It says “suitable for your plants which has green leaves, rich additives for your plants”. It doesn’t write about formula or Ingredients. Do you think it is also rich for this plants?
@TokersHaven And I also found “Biobizz all mix” and “Biobizz light mix” soils on local market. Some People sell it for mj on some websites too. Do you know this brand?
Yes thats exactly what I was saying
Haha i figured, just didnt want to speak for someone else lol!
Ive herd people talk about biobizz. @zanor but personally ive never used it. I can however pull up its npk tho!
Hey! @zanor biobizz light mix seems like it will work as well. As far as a transplant… Im not an expert but ive done a few. When ive done my transplants i put the main stem between my middle and ring finger then flip container so that soil roots dirt all slides out into your palm. Just be carefull when you do it. As far as washing the roots to get the old dirts off im not sure. Ive seen people take hoses to the roots to wash them but your roots are most likely small and fragile as of now. I know @Rugar89 just washed some roots, might have a better way to explain how to wash the roots.
If @zanor decides to do this, he may be better off using luke warm water under a low flow of water like maybe in a kitchen sink or bathtub Time will tell if mine even survive or not.
@TokersHaven Save me some reading. What soil are they in now and how big is the current pot?
@TokersHaven Ok I will try to do it. But as you said my roots are thin, long and fragile I think.
@Rugar89 I will watch your post and lets see they will survive=)
@bob31 It is soil and peat mix. Unkown local brand. 5 liter pots. I first feeded them 3 days ago on day 17th. They were yellow before feeding and they are still bad.
@zanor do you have a pH meter now? If so take a drinking glass and ph the water in a half glass to 6.5
then add a tablespoon of your soil and stir it up and let it sit for a few minutes and then check the ph of that soil water mix. It is either going to be close to 6.5 or around 5.8 please let me know as soon as you can on that.
As far as the yellowing it can’t be reversed unfortunately, once they yellow you just need to leave them be until they sufficiently die off. Especially when the plants are that young.
Sorry. @bob31 just saw that lol unknown soil all his plants are frying at the moment.
don’t be sorry @TokersHaven you’re doing a great job helping out. The soil and ph are the big unknowns so get those sorted, see what happens, tweak from there!
lol almost all of the issues start and end with those two issues!
Yea i know lol once he stated he didnt know npk and saw his girls i said oh no!!! Had to help as much as poss. But i deff think hes getting nute burn from the soil.
@bob31 @TokersHaven My ph meter is still on way=/ Here is holiday for a few days so I need to wait them 3 4 days more I think. But I contacted soil company just now. And they said soil ph is about between 6.5-7.0. And it is peat soil mix with around % 10 organics. And my bottled water ph is also 7.3 which I used to water… So I think my soil ph is around 7 now. Maybe nutrition is not high but soil ph is high.
Honestly it could be both at this point l. PH is huge when it comes to our plants. Ive had issues off and on all grow with my PH its a hassle. Having both PH and HOTSOIL is pretty bad and when i picture a cooking plant i picture yours my friend. 7.0 on ph is
to high you want to get it as close to 6.5 as you can. May even want to order PH up and PH down to help you do so.
