Plants dying-advice needed

From a fellow grower: 8 out of my ten plants grew beautifully, nice leaves( about 3 levels of leaves) at this point, however, they were getting very stemmy. I was getting nervous they would fall over so I staked them. I then fertilized them with the ILGM fertilizer kit, soon after that 6 out of the 8 plants fell over and died! I even transplanted them into slightly bigger pots thinking they need to go deeper into the soil. I have them by my window and have a grower light on them.

What is the temperature where they are at? Looks cold!

It looks like it might be one (or more) of a couple of things.

They look like they might be overwatered and damping off. What are your watering practices? How much, how often.

Windows filter out a lot of UV, which your plant needs to survive. Suggest proper cannabis lighting.

Are you feeding them anything other than water?

Same I see several issues , it’s the learning curve bro , it takes time to learn how to properly care for a plant if you don’t have previous garden experience, but don’t worry just dont give up , keep trying, the more you practice with time it will be a lot easier,I only have one harvest under my belt but , kept trying and got my harvest after several tries .

If it were me I would scrap all but maybe the second to the right. The biodegradable pots look dry. Also, I wouldn’t do any nutes for a good month or so, unless they are put in hydro, and then only 1/8 at start and then 1/4 and work up. If you are using a soil mix that is rich such as FF Happy Frog, then that will have enough in them to feed them for quite some time. The tap roots will come out super fast at this point (they would most likely love being put in a larger pot), and I just think that in this case, maybe underwatering and too much nutes could well be an issue. I go conservative. I just now added full nutes this week to my hydroponic grow photo grow that came up 11/30. I do add full cal mag though the moment I spot they need it. And that is an easy one to see. Other than that, I went conservatively. My autos in soil bags are just now getting nutes and at 1/8th other than full cal mag.

Caveat: this is only my third grow so take it for what it is worth. The more seasoned growers here will have good input, too.

Looks like winter outside. I live in Canada and in the winter its too cold and not enough sunlight to germinate seeds by a windowsill. Your house temperature might be okay but right next to the window it will be a lot colder.

Laughing, I missed your overwatering comment. I think we are looking at a combination of problems. I will defer to your judgement though on water. It is so hard to tell from photos sometimes.

Yeah a couple of those look like they might be damping off, so I thought I’d ask.

Your girls are looking good!
