A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks
“1 WEEK INTO GROW. PLANTS HAVE LEAVES ON TOP BUT VERY LONG STEMS. HAVE LED LIGHTS AND MOISTURE METER. LIGHT 18 HOURS, MOISTURE IS GOOD.SEEMS LIKE PLANTS ARE GROWING TO FAST AND WANT TO TOPPLE OVER. HELP. WHITE WIDOW IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO GROW.”
sounds like they are stretching for the light… how close is the light to them? not sure how close you can go with LEDs?? but that’s just my humble opinion
Second, move your lights closer, your plants are stretching for light! This is a bad thing, because as your suggested it will cause the plant to grow tall and skinny without enough support and topple over and die.
Third, add a toothpick or a stick to support the stretching plant.
