Plant is growing VERY dense and close grouped

Hey gang. So I am about 50 days in from the start of germination. So far, I have not had any major issues, but I am curious on how this plant is growing. It seems to be growing VERY dense with not much reach. My main question is, is this normal or is it a method of how I am watering or the light schedule.

18 on/6 off light schedule
ventilation on for an average of about 12 hours a day
Main bucket is a see through plastic bucket but I put up some cardboard barriers to block most of the light.
I don’t have any wilted leaves or discoloration
I do spray the plant lightly twice a day
I water the plant once a week or so (or once I soil gets pretty dry
600w glow light sits about 18 inches from flower
Plant is sitting in some 20%perlite with 80% Ocean Forest

Again, I think it looks fantastic, but I have seen other grows where the stems are very gangly, spread out, and very tall/wide. Is it time to possibly add some FF liquid nutes? Thanks for the help guys

Edit: Oh, and plant sits about 7 - 8 inches high. Strain is Super Skunk

First, spraying your plant at this point is unnecessary. Any moisture the leaves need are being adequately supplied by the roots.

The small stature of the plant is genetic, but you can cause the nodes to stretch out a bit by raising the light making the plant reach for the light. To allow light to get to the lower branches you can selectively cut off fan leave to expose the tops. You might also think about spreading the plant vertically by topping or FIM’ing to produce side shoots and new tops.

Plant looks healthy and well fed. Seems Plant is tight for space in the corner while the rest of the tote is being unused. Curious? I personally would transplant to a 5-7 gallon pot.

Awesome, thank you for the recommendations. So, this is my second attempt. First one died from too much water after a week or two  This one has been a super smooth process and I thought a 3 gallon bucket would be sufficient (I learned that is not the case a bit too late). I have since purchased some cloth 5 gallon bags so the next one will be transplanted into a much larger area. By FM’ing, do you mean pruning? If so, I was considering pruning a few sections.

Another question. The website states flowering period is at <65 days. I am assuming at optimal EVERYTHING, that is when the <65 days period can be obtained. Is it normal for me to be a few weeks away from the stated “flowering period” but I am actually not close to that period? I know you can keep it in a flowering period for months and months, but I was just curious.

Are they autos? If it is not I still would recommend transplant to a new container. You could gently raise the root ball from the corner and rais the plant out with minimal root damage. The roots are more hearty than ppl think and will regenerate damage quickly.

“65 days flowering” is when you first see pistils after switching to flower. I have found my plants take longer than recommended time to fully mature. Everyone’s grow conditions will be different.

FIM’ing is cutting the lead shoot partially to continue vertical growth while promoting horizontal shoots. Search the forum and you will find several examples.

As she grows she will spread out. You may need to thin her smaller lower branches but id wait until just before flower or right after first pistils show

I would definitely transplant IMO!!

A light that’s predominantly blue wavelengths will do that, in addition things others have mentioned.
