I think its a phosporus and potadsium deficiency but i want to make sure before goving any tiger bloom if thats the case. Ph is 6.3
Most time, phosphorus deficiency usually has bluish spots on leaves and spots die and get crispy. Potassium deficiency usually shows as yellow leaf edges and yellow tips. I don’t really see either, your plants look good from the pic.
Heres some better poctures still working on doing better ones lol whqt do you think with these ones? I think cal mag deficiency and potass or phosporous still?
Looking at whole plant, that does favor phosphorus. Also mabey some manganese too.
Do you know runoff numbers? I’m thinking they need feeding but numbers would confirm. PH says she’s not locked out if that was runoff or a slurry…
Yeah numbers are lower out than in so it does confirm shes eating plus shes stretching as well so seems overall healthy. I think 300 in and 130 out. Im so worried about doing more of a feed than that due to experiances with toxicities and how much more damage they do than deficiencys. Ill give it some tiger bloom next feed then. The rest of the plant besides those leaves look fine. How long does it take the leaves to recover? Or is the damage permanant?
The damaged leaves won’t green back up again. Watch the newer growth.
Unfortunately leaves that are damaged don’t recover, like @Oldguy said. I think she’s just hungry, give her a feeding. She’s in flower so you’ll need the trio for a balanced feed, not just Grow Big. Give her about 600 ppm and work up every other feeding until she gets to 800-900 runoff. I’ll bet you’ll see a growth spurt with a good feeding.
Makes sense so bawically any leaves damaged more than halfway chop off carefully
Alright ill give it a bit more on its next feeding just had issues where ive given a small amount and it cahses lockout for some reason ill just take it caredully
Lil calmag, lil molasses. I use organic calmag and organic black strap molasses. Lots of everything to correct deficiencies. Also just a lil to supplement between feedings goes all long way!
Also feeds your soil microbes and keeps the soil happy…
That makes sense how much do ypu water during flowering?
When the plants need it really, I water kind of light anyway. With the living soil I use you kinda have to keep it damp so your beneficials bugs don’t die. On the same card you don’t want to over water and drown your soil. So I grow in 4 gal of soil and the girls usually drink a half of a gal every three days. Later in flower they drink less so I go by weight.
Feel your pots after a fresh watering, then wait for it to dry back ( top 2 inches of soil will be dry but under that depth should be damp). This will let you know when your plants need water. Sometimes they drink more also other phenos might drink more than others or not as much. So the weight is the best method.
I top dress when feeding using Gaia green power bloom. This is a once a month feeding as per instructions. This also allows me to have three weeks to supplement a lil cal mag here or there and some molasses ( @ 1 tbsp per gallon of water ) in between feedings. Also you can throw a bloom enhancer in there once a month between feedings as well, just keep an eye on your run off of ppm..
Get a nice ppm/tds/pH pen if you don’t already have one and that will make things easier as well. Hope this helps!
Thanks super helpful and detailed. I dont think my watering scedual is to off but always helps to get others opinions and advice
That’s why we are here growmie! We all need help now and then! Always ask, one of these fine folks will help! Keep it up, you’ll have delicious smoke that you know exactly what it has in it!!
Yeah thats why im doing it plenty cheaper to. Also i was giging a gallon of water every waterijg with 2 gallon fabric pots bht i think its to much so gonna go to a half gallon so ots more consistant and easier
