Perpetual grow question

I grew autos with my current photo grow. They seemed to grow fine in 12/12 with them. I ended up getting a 1/2 pound out of 3 plants.

Didn’t they flower at the same time ? I’m looking to veg the autos while the photos are in flower so when the photos are finished I can move the auto under the hps for flower and then start more photos . Basically run the autos on a photo schedule so I don’t hermie the photos

In order for it to be “perpetual” you need to veg at the same time as flower if the autos just ride along by the end of flower you will basically be starting over

Have you considered dividing your room in half.

As a last resort . I’d have to buy double my equipment more fans more temp/ humidity controller etc

You are right on track. Your autos will go along for the ride just fine. Don’t worry about the humidity, either. They are acceptant of a wide range, and the older the plan gets the less critical the humidity levels are anyway.

@Watt-Sun @Hogmaster does his autos on a 12/12 schedule from seed to finish. I’ve thrown in an auto with my photos and they grew just fine. No matter what the light schedule was as well.

Autos should run fine under either schedule. Unfortunately I would be a little leery of continually putting them back and forth. Seems like you would be opening door for potential stress, and the last thing you want is for an auto to pop nanners with flowering photos.

save the money u were going to spend on auto seed and get the tent and fans.!
this would be a true perpetual grow and the auto’s won’t be needed.!!

set up a light tight grow space or tent and use the T5’s for seedlings then add the 900w LED for veg in the grow room, and just use the 600w HPS in the flower area, u will get 50-100% more finished bud then what u r producing now with one run going.!!

I agree with you completely on this.

Doing exactly that now with 2 100w lights in a 4x2 tent

2 autos

2 clones

1 flowering plant

All on 12/12 light cycle
