So with this heat, even with the AC running in the house I can’t keep my temps in the tent below 75. Humidity isn’t an issue (although the dehumidifier pumps out heat too in the room).
I just ordered two cases of reusable ice(gel) packs. They’re 48oz larger ones, so there will be 12 total.
I figure I can rotate 6 in the tent and 6 in freezer and leave them in there to bring temps down while I’m drying hahaha

Welllllll… its been way too hot here lately. Even though i hung them on Saturday i think I’m going to have to start trimming early. I wanted to wait till this weekend, but with the heat and humidity I’m pretty sure theyre getting pretty dry already.
Wanted a slower dry time honestly, but cant have everything i guess.
I think I’m going to look into this Cannatrol thing for drying and curing. Its basically like a suped up wine fridge that automates drying and curing up to 2 lbs.
$1600… but whatever

Oh for sure. Just make sure it can handle your average wer weight. I’ve seen some hang dry until the unit did its thing and then run in batches

Yeah i saw max wet weight was only 2lbs!!
Which seems quite a bit on the low side to me (sorry for the pun lol).
At $1600 for one unit i dont wanna shell out for multiple

@Low Its sad, because its basically just a wine fridge with a custom arduino chip to regulate.
I’m not so good with the techs to program something myself.
Definitely feel like i would need a lot more. Hell these two plants are waaaaay more than 2lbs wet weight for sure.
Soooooo, hang and grove bags along with bovedas will continue for now.
I’m just a lazy panda and it looked fun to use haha

Scale was calibrated for the bag weight… 648 total dry from TWO plants. Imagine it will gain some weight back as well as it cures lmao
