It depends on the water you are adjusting, so there is no fixed amount. Put it in a drop at a time and see how it goes. Stop adding it when pH reaches your goal.
Just use the ph down to adjust the feed nutrients to 6.5. For a couple feeding or waterings. Then go to 6.8, and stay there. If you don’t have any ph down you can use some lemon juice in the meantime.
When using plain water. If you are using tap or well water you can adjust ph when this type. If using RO or distilled there is no use trying to ph this type of water.
Your plant looks very good btw, darker green older growth with slightly lighter new shoots is a sign of well balanced nutrients. Stay the course, and just adjust that ph a bit.
Ions must be present for a PH to exist in a fluid. Distilled water has no ions present and therefore has no pH. It is, by definition, impossible to pH adjust distilled water.
Well crap lol
Ok ill go to the nursery today and get the ph down. I was told that distilled water was a good choice. I have well water here at the house. I was told not to use well water. To many minerals in it.
Should i use my well water with the p.h.down ?
Again you are looking very good! Don’t act like a beginner and overreact.
I would find out exactly what is in your well water first. There are several sources for testing, including Jacks Nutrients.
Just ph your nutrient mix for now. If you overshoot the ph down, and you probably will. Just use a tiny bit of baking soda to bring back up. Ph up and down is just easier to use,
