Sadly, I am much more paranoid sober than high…lol! I barricaded the road pre-bong hits.
I haven’t moved the trees. Nobody else lives down our road, so if anybody needs to drive down our road, they’re wrong, anyway. ![]()
Ha!

Ha!
I decided to call it on the straggler from Set#1.
Now, I have 3 healthy, if somewhat small for their age, girls.
Saved you the trouble! They look great ![]()
That there is one of my favorite times when growing. The plants are healthy and you can see they are going to turn out nice. They all look great ![]()
Thanks! They’re growing, slowly but surely!
Been reading some grow diaries about the 2 strains. Very stoked about taste, cannabinoid levels, and yields, but I am getting nervous that I was a bit too optimistic about harvesting before it gets too cold. I’ll cry at that bridge when I get to it.
Looking great!
Thanks! I hope they hit a good growth spurt, soon.
The light rain we’ve been getting is definitely helping. I was still watering for seedlings, when clearly the plants were ready for more aggressive watering.
I can see growth, myself, but not sure you all will notice it. Photos just don’t quite capture what our eyes see.
The Shrimp is starting to grow upwards!
Here’s one from several days ago. The bigger plants are swapped positions in the most recent photos.
So weird, I was just noticing the exact same with my Double Tangie Banana seedling. I was dribbling a circle around her, until feeding a half gallon of weak nutrients yesterday. Explosive growth overnight.
They seem to do best when they’re on the edge of starving lol
Still raining! It hasn’t been a constant downpour or anything, but it’s been drizzly & wet with occasional showers for almost 48 hours.
Should I be worried about roots drowning? Should I move them out of the rain or cover the bed of my truck (where they’re living) with some visqueen?
Tomorrow, I was planning on feeding. Should I use less h20 in my nute solution & let the rain dilute it, for me? Should I just forget about feeding during rain? Should I attempt to foliar feed during a break in the rain?

I would try to get them out of the rain and give them a chance to dry out. Talk to all these Southeast guys that get lots of rain @Sasquatch @FloridaSon @Budbrother
You just got to love rain @blackthumbbetty … Im dealing with the after math of it . IF your pots are draining ok root rot should not be a issue. On feeding your girls, I’ve tried letting them dry some but with no sun that didn’t work and they got hungry. I’ve found you need to feed on schedule. The rain isn’t going to wash out that much. I took some 40 gal trash bags and cut a 16 x 16 squares and then cut a 3 in hole in the center. cut them from the out side edge to the center. you can lay this over your pots. It will keep about 90 %rain out. Or another option is top dress with some bat guano or worm castings on your plants. The rain will take care of feeding them.
When they are young its not a issue but with rains like your getting, if your in flower bud rot is going to be a problem. I’ve had to cut off half a cola the other day due to it.
Good luck with your grow
Thanks! They’re only 3.5 weeks old. I’ll either put them inside my truck (leaving windows down…I have those window protectors to block rain), or put a visqueen tent over part of the truck bed.
Once I do either, I’ll feed with some grow, persephone, and microblast, just to be on the safe side with all the rain. It’s funny, but before I came home, it hadn’t rained for almost 2 weeks.
Very glad I’m not in flower. I can’t even imagine the stress of watching your buds get soaked…and possibly moldy.
yea it sucks. If your plants are that small Id just cover the truck bed if possible. I would think inside the truck would not be a good spot. You would basically be putting them in a sauna. Hot Humid and no air moving
I had thought that, but with windows open in my town…known for its wind, I thought it might work…plus it’s stealthier.
But, you’re right, I’ll have to find a reason to explain the visqueen, but it is best.
Watch, I’ll put up the visqueen in the morning, & by noon it’ll be dry & sunny for the next few weeks.
Yep you know that’s true. and if you do nothing it will be a monsoon …
No rain this morning & a bit of sun, but the forecast is calling for 80% chance of showers, through Wednesday.
So, I made a very easy to move rain barrier with some plastic sheeting, buckets, and duct tape. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find our roll of visqueen, so I had to cobble together a couple of small sheets, which wouldn’t stretch across the whole bed. That’s how this thing happened:
It’ll work. Temporarily.
I also fed them today. To 2 qts of h20, I added 1/2 tsp grow, 1/2 tsp microblast, and 1 1/2 tsp Persephone’s palate, pH’d to 6.5. Not showing signs of any deficiencies, but with all the rain, I thought I should add some micronutrients.
Btw, I am keeping them in my truck bed to try to keep as many plant sucking bastards away from them. I live in an area filled with truly wild nature. I hope my truck bed is unnatural enough that bugs don’t even think to look there for food.
Once bloom really gets going, they’ll be put in a hopefully safe spot in nature.
