Shes a beast. Shes gonna need some more support come October. I grew a goldleaf couple years back. Good smoke. She gave up 5lb and is one of my biggest yielding plants ive ever grown.
Yeah I’ve been tying branches up so far gonna add some more sticks soon
@W.B.elpaso Got that right! A few years back my Romulan Photo fell over and a few times I lost a few big branches…I didn’t support them @ the time…I didn’t use silica either…So this year you’d think i learned well Im late to the party again…I still have time its just harder now cause they’ve grown so much.
@NoPeep wow thats a big bush…! Nice!!
So far…so good. Puss Galore is out of my hands at this point. Just keeping her supported and watching
The Alcapulco golds got sad so they got moved in ground a few days ago and have been doing well since.
Durban Poison and Afghan are still holding their own as well
We’ve had some good storms this summer been able to keep bouncing back so far.
I DID break my tomato plant today doing a transplant…tape and honey will tell me tomorrow if it’ll make it
Hope all is well with y’all!
Yes indeed, i had to look close. I see them pollen sacks. Looks like there ready to blow too. Anybody want some seeds??
I wouldnt mind a couple seeds per ounce of weed, would be nice to run your own stuff.
That is something I’ve been researching on and off. For me it’s a matter of making the extra tent space and spare time @W.B.elpaso
We had another big storm come through. Lost half my tree but she still big. Just sad
The smaller ones went sideways and are getting back up. Spent some time staking and patching the rest of the garden up. Tomato plant is doing great by the way…turns out I was able to plant the broken branches as they were.
In better news…looks like the other 2 Acapulcos are ladies PG is looking better by the day. Afghan and DP took a little stress too.
I was lookin around and thinking to myself…
self, now why would we waste a perfectly good hole?
So I dug the root ball from the culled plant and dropped the Afghan in since it outgrown it’s pot too. Think I might just skip pots for outdoors from now on
Its amazing how tough these plants are. She has been beaten but shines through in the end. Nice✌dare i say thats some tough pussy.
Oh yeah! Just sucks because that was easily my best FIM job and I told myself I was gonna take a break from growing my. This situation brought the itch back for sure
I’m Nick naming it Icarus/Icarus’ Revenge
Doin good here at the Peep Show. Got a little break from the storms. Not much to report…took out a hopper today
Shorter days now and the temps dropped so the last 2 Acapulco Golds finally popped…both ladies so no culling today
Supposed to spike back to mid 80s next week gonna have to wait n see how they do.
Durban Poison, Afghan and Puss Galore are flowering so it’s definitely go time
Back for an well overdue update…
The storms gave me a run this summer P. Galore started with FOUR TOPS(proud of myself for that)…there is one remaining and getting close to chop time.
Afghan is still bulking which is okay the weather is still doable.
I did lose the Durban Poison…at first I thought it sorta drowned but when I flipped the root ball out found a colony of rollie pollies had tunneled throughout the entire thing
The remaining Acapulco Gold is a little slow on the budding so not sure if it’ll make it in time.
Those were my first time growing regular seeds outdoors and I caught the males before they popped so that’s pretty okay in my book
So I got P Galore trimmed, washed and hung today. It was pretty cloudy outside today so I got to work outside…the sun popped out just as I finished
I only found 2 small spots of rot which is surprising because of all of the rain and the fact that it was over 9 feet tall so I had no way to check 3/4 of it during the grow
One possibly 2 more to go🤙🏿
I know I’ve been quiet…been busy between work and bow season(now gun in MI). Il
I took a 5pt last weekend for bow. I couldn’t stop the 8 chasing a doe but that’s okay.
Good news y’all… Afghan made it to chop
She was stunted a little because I had to transplant late…still frosty n pretty as ever.
I’m not very enthusiastic about the Acapulco Gold but there’s always next year.
Hope everybody had a good season🤙🏿
