I looked at lowes home depot and the two big nurseries in town
Depending on where you live it may not be on the shelf yet. My local stores are just now gradually putting garden stuff out
Updates
All 12 seem happy and healthy
So the line up is now
2 super skunks( gifted seeds )
2 chemdawg
2 purple haze
2 gold leaf
2 northern lights
1 agent orange
1 super silver haze
Going with Roots oganics 707 outdoor soil for my topsoil and ofcourse super soil in the bottom half
Soils been baking since the end of January so its ready to go so transplants coming in the next couple weeks
One of the skunks has been bent under the soil cut down to 8 good branches lolied then buried it and recently topped all of the branches
One of the gold leafs has been topped stripped down and super cropping already started too she is responding well to the training
I will likely keep bending and topping to keep em all under 6’tall and as wide as I can get em

Sounds good @Growitand I agree everyone looks happy
Looking good man!
It’s going to be a great grow! @Growit
Once I transplant I will try and fill out a support ticket and try to be more consistent with updates and post more pics and general info as the grow progresses. I have a lot of gaps in information in my last journal so this time I am gonna try and do better with posting updates more often and in greater detail
looking good @Growit
Very neat and organized grow and all look great @Growit. Thanks for the tag, I’m eager to see where we go with this.
@Growit it’s so much fun to watch others plan their grow and then follow the progress! Thanks for sharing. I’m in North County San Diego about 8 miles inland. Used the Root Organics 707 in 15 gallon molded black nursery pots, painted flat white. The pots were cooking the roots when it got hot before painted. My harbor freight infrared temp gun registered 135 degrees pointed at the pot while they were black, after painted it dropped at least 30 degrees on a hot day.
Got over 4lbs of buds on my first grow outdoors last year for 6 plants thanks to great ILGM genetics and lots of help from the good folks on this forum. Just be ready to cure and trim all of this in short period of time. 5 gallon buckets with the gamma seal lid combo made it much easier to store and cure, when compared to traditional glass mason jars. Plus they block out the light.
Am also curious how you rig your drip system. I’m obsessing about how to keep the nutes mixed in the main reservoir before watering.
Cheers!!!
DaGoose: Greencoast Hydro in west Escondido, if you have not shopped there. Very impressive stock.
You should try cloth pots. They really breath, so you can’t ever get root-bound.
I think most hydro solutions are fully water soluble, so there are no solids to settle out. Everything is ions that stay in solution. Solids would just clog emitters and such.
Right on @DaGoose
Thanks for relating your experience
I will post some pics on the breakdown on the irrigation system. It was a bit tricky but it is for sure gonna work out great!!
I have a pump set on a timer pump kicks on and feeds the drip system from the drums. I pH the drums to 6.5 using white vinegar. Got the idea for the set up from @1BigFella. I wanted to do a gravity feed system but just do not have the hieght I needed so the pressure was not enough to trigger the solenoids from the timer so the pump was an after thought I really did not want to use one but its perfect!!
Posts to come with a parts breakdown and pics
And thanks again for the pointers
Oh yea trimming and drying are gonna be sumpin else. I am doing the buckets with the gamma lids and boveda packs
Love those lids man I just discovered them at my local Lowes store I use one in the house for my veggie scraps and coffe grounds for my compost and worm food. It stays in my kitchen and it is stinky inside the bucket but once I tighten the lid cannot smell a thing so I know these things are air tight

Here is my irrigation pump and set up @DaGoose
@Growit thank you so much for this!!!
Looks pretty straight forward. So your connecting the drip line on the output to the emitters, correct? I have installed drip lines here at home and always had to install a pressure regulator near the source, otherwise the high pressure blows off the emitters. Also, is was contemplating using my tap water instead of RO (it was a pain because my kitchen system only does 3 gallons and hour). Is the second barrel used for that to let the chlorine evaporate?
Thank you again, I really appreciate this!
I’m just mixing tap water with nute solution, pHing, then dumping it on the plants. They don’t seem to mind the chlorine at all. It might be different if your water district uses chloramine, but I don’t think you can remove that by evaporation. Colorado River water has plenty of magnesium and calcium in it, so you don’t need to add that. Your water must be similar to Vallecitos water district’s, although we are getting some Carlsbad desal water in our mix.
If you do use RO, be sure to add some cal-mag. If you use tap water, keep an eye on your emitters because they will clog eventually from all the minerals in the water.
