I need to work on lightproofing the door next. @QST_59 did a nice write up on the lab side on how to make a seal using caulking, not sure if it’s on this side as well. If I don’t find it or he doesn’t chime in I’ll go over the process when I do it this weekend.
Awe… if I knew how to use a meme/gif/watchamacallit with some cute fluffy thing I would totally use it it… who am I kidding. I hope thanks will suffice!
@AAA I used the same product in my garage I am very very happy with it. It holds up. You can drive your car in and out with the tires hot and it won’t peel up like regular concrete floor paint . I also went with the light gray.
Sweet! The stuff at our shop after 5 years has held up relatively well, but it’s chipped in areas where heavy tools, lifts, etc have come into contact, but still very happy with it!
Looking really good Brother
Yeah, I bet that was fun scrapping up that stuff. Room came out great though so worth the effort & now you know to properly monitor that rh when you do other rooms
Good Luck & have Fun!
Set to watch
I just figures it was a given . Sooo much of that going on around here these days
I cans see its undercurrent in almost every thread. People scratching their heads wondering…how the heck can I grow more plants, more strains in less amount of time, that last one’s the tricky one Lol.
It looks quite nice actually & much more fun than dealing w a tents I would wager.
I know that you already went through the whole hassle of sealing your floor… @AAA
But you did mention maybe another build out
What I did in my flower room was take 1/2 inch plywood and liquid nailed some sheets of bright white (frp) fiberglass reinforced plastic to the plywood and then bolted it to the concrete in a few spots , so that I could take it with me if I moved , but now that I bought the place that wont be happening…
But its super durable and it’s been in my flower room for more than 8 years with no issues…
Not so bright white as when new , but for the first 5 years of growing I was using soil…
Now Im Strictly in water so its easier to keep clean…
@Nicky I’ve got an 8” hyper fan that will blow out one of the 2- 8” registers above the door and fresh air will come in through the passive air intake at the lower opposite end of the door in the room.
