It’s flush mounted to an exterior wall vent. My garage came with 2, I built my room on the end that already had one.

Man I hope to see the day I can grow outdoors without worry. We could probably get away with it now as we have no neighbors but I’m not into testing my luck like that.

When I was younger and renting a house, I grew some super skunk plants up in the trees. I put 10 gallon pots and suspended them high up. I would then water on a ladder with a wand.
Best outdoor results I had up to that date. Moths cant find the plants to lay eggs, so no caterpillars.
You should try it!
