Well, those spider mites are just savage. Which means.. OPERATION SAVE OLD MAN’S SEED
All of my mother clones have died from the mites. This is the last one standing, and she’s REALLY unhappy, I’m not hopeful she’ll survive. But I’m letting her try.
I took 5 clippings, 3 of which have rooted. So they’re into solo cups tonight.
These babies also have mite damage. They’ve been, and are still being, treated. My heart will be devastated if I can’t manage to bring these to the point that I can seed them. It would mean the end of the genetics.

Soaking 9, will keep the best 6 (2/3 per strain). I’m in the White Truffle community event, I’m running a couple more of my Kanaka, and some of the Kona Reds of @OGIncognito which I’m extremely excited about.
I’m still waging war on the mites so I’ve treated with all the things I’ve got. Isopropyl alcohol one of them as it kills eggs too. I plan to treat prophylactically.

This time of year has so many complications. Mainly my mermaid of a wife requiring every warm sunny day on the boat and having little tolerance for any other activities, keeps me busy.
