Sometimes you can see it. Other times you can’t!!
Also known as gray mold, botrytis is a parasitic fungus that can attack your cannabis plants at any time. This was caught while we were bucking. Way later in the game than I would like but better late then never. Probably 25lbs loss overall.
Botrytis cinerea conidia are asexually produced spores that can remain alive for years until the conditions are favorable for their new development.
I’m not 100% sure why this arose but it’s a good example of why you ‘must’ fully sanitize your growing area periodically throughout the grow and between every grow cycle. Set prevention measure into action!
