The panels are around 6ā wide. Ā± how far off the posts are. They are 48" tall then filled in with 2x6 along the bottom.
I donāt have a problem with lava. Our top soil is mostly gravel, a deep layer of clay with limestone below that. I got tired of trying to amend our crappy soil. Hence the raised beds.

I think the gravity idea is amazing you should look into rain water collection from your gutters and then just filter it and pump it into your reservoir. Go green!
Try dry ice in the future for your bubble has, youāll never do it the normal way again.
Also instead of butter try coconut oil, it absorbs thc at a higher rate and is more fat soluble, aka much better product.

Thanks for the tag man Iāll be following along. These plans look great. Iām hopefully going to be converting a 10ftx20ft heavyduty carport into a greenhouse for next outdoor season so Iām gunna be tryin to pick up some tips and tricks as we go along Iāve only been able to grow inside so far but I figure if I can take my LST skills outdoors I should have some very nice sized girls.

Iāve never gone back to bubble since I tried dry ice. Found it so much easier. Only part that I find hard is all the shaking and such because I have a bad back and shoulders but Iām getting better at it the more physical therapy Iām able to do. And sometimes I have some1 come down to do a run with me and we just you know toke alittle first. I actually made up a whole table out of plexiglass with cardboard sides that go up along it. The table covers my whole kitchen counter and scrapes off wicked easy with a putty scarper. Next time I do a run Iāll take some pics and post them up. I love doing dry ice runs.

I havenāt done one yet so I have no idea how to do it I did a big batch of normal bubble hash and was happy but Iām gonna do dry ice next time.

I think youāll love it with the dry ice to man. Its useable so much faster. And Iāve seemed to get more from my stuff when I do it that way. The one thing I noticed is that I bought all mesh bags my second purchase of bags because after using my original bags with that had like the colored fabric on the sides going down to the mesh on the bottom with the dry ice a couple times I found that if it gets to cold or you have like alittle to much ice or stuff in it you can freeze that fabric and have little bits of it in your stuff which you know not cool. So my solution was to buy all mesh bags which have been working out great for me so far. But like I said I think part of my problem was to much dry ice and to much trim. I tend to do really big runs so that I donāt have to do as many haha. Doesnāt always work out the way I plan

Do you just use dry ice and the trim, shake it around andā¦
To be honest I canāt even picture of how it works haha.
I know for water & normal ice I prefer the fabric bags with mesh only on the bottom.

Pretty much haha. I store all my trim in the freezer. Before I put it in the bag with the dry ice I try to break it up alittle bit so if you have a food processor you can throw it in there on pulse for a sec if not the dry ice will break it up. But yea when Iām ready I put however much Iām gunna use into the bag put in the dry ice leave it for a few sec for everything to get nice and cold then shake it over my table. When that bag is done I transfer everything into the next bag which is in a 5 gallon bucket. scrape up whats on the table. then shake the next bag a bunch some more. Just kinda repeat until Youāve used all the bags you usually use and if you want to do a double run you can. There are some good short vids on youtube with some tutorials but I kinda just do my own thing to try to get the most out of it. I tend to only use 2 bags when doing it just as a time thing but like I said before my back and shoulder are bad so I have a hard time with all the shaking. Iāll try to do a step by step thing next run with pics if I remember. Iāll see if I canāt get my hands on some dry ice pretty soon.

Where do you get the dry ice?

I get it from a place in Springfield MA, its not to far from me. Its called American Ice but usually if you look online you can find a place fairly close to you that has it. They usually have like a 10lb minimum to buy it but depending on the place its pretty cheap to buy in block form then just hit with a hammer to break it up when you need to use it. Some places will even ship it pretty much anywhere but thats alot more expensive and way to much for me so I just find wherever I can pick it up the cheapest. Usually you have to reserve 24 hrs ahead of time

Yeah here the Praxair has it.
I also do two runs and I run 3 bags.
I have some older cbd bud and a ācompost jarā my girl and me toss whatever is left over in a grinder when we forget what it is. So Iām gonna clean up a couple. Old jars of stuff I donāt want to smoke along with the compost and tie it into my next falls harvest as I tend to grow 8-10 plants in the summer so that leaves me with lots of trim h the stuff I save from the rest of the year.dry ice it is.

That should give you a really nice clean up. I like your compost jar idea man. That is something I might have to start doing at some point. Iāve always kept every part of the plant to use after. Figure I can use the trim for hash and find uses for the wood and everything else like crafty things cause having projects is always good. Adding the compost jar and your other stuff to the trim should give you a nice bump to just the final product of the dry ice run as opposed to just the trim in your end product to. Youāll pretty quickly figure out how long to shake the bags and how much to fill it Iāve been experimenting with slightly different amounts each time to see if I get more or less but its easy to tell when the bags are done dropping the hash down and switch to your next one.

Where Iām setting up my greenhouse its on a cement slab that is behind a barn. Because I wonāt be able to easily dig down/drill into the cement a bunch I plan on using reclaimed railroad ties to line where Iām putting the greenhouse and drill into those to hold it down. Honestly not sure if its going to work or not yet but I think they should be heavy enough to hold it in place. I just wasnāt sure if something like railroad ties would work where you canāt dig down for your place to? Might not be something you need but I figured Iād throw it out there incase it could help.

Compost jar is the best, I have a sativa and an indica grinder so sometimes by the time I get back to a grinder I canāt remember what I put in it.
I donāt want to hit a hybrid indica if Iām wanting to smoke one bag and lay in the couch lazy, for that I want a heavy indica. And later afternoon I ussualy donāt want a super strong sativa or ill be stoned and wired all night lol.
So any leftovers just go in the compost.

Iām still new to growing, so my gauge of measuring āturn outā is based upon dried weight divided by (over) effort+time+money. Harvesting anything might not be a net gain, but itās still a success.
And Iām not sure how much time/effort/work you put into that harvest, but It looks quite successful to me!

@kdawg As for the Greenpoint selection. I sure wouldnāt mind trying the Periwinkle Pie, Gorilla Punch or Lemon Tree Punch. Wonder what there black Friday sales will be like?
@OlyBoy98503 This next summer we will be spending a bit more money on supplies due to the new garden area. Lumber and what not. I salvaged the white 55 gal drums from a friend so we saved some cash there. As of the amount of time spent in the garden. Might not want to talk about that
Alittle more preparation for next summer. Iām trying to accumulate everything we will need and prep as much as I can. (This way I can still log some miles once the laddies are in the ground. Considering most races were cancelled this year)
I still need to get another fish/crab and bat guano. The molasses, bat guano and bio live will be for the tea. Pest prevention will be Captain Jacks for a spray along with multiple thousands of lady bugs.
The jug on the left will be used for teas. The jug on the right will be used for fish/crab and CalMag & Iron. The valves on the bottom will allow me to fill buckets as needed. I cut the tops out to allow for easy mixing and PH adjusting. I made screens for the top of each jug to protect objects from accidentally falling in. I have also positions them in the back of a box truck in close proximity to the garden. This will allow me to simply shut the door on the truck so the tea will be brewing in complete darkness. Iām also planning on using the back of the box truck for drying. Kinda tired of taking up the shop.
50 gallon grow bags ready for soil. Already cut and fit the wire. I like this method because it gives me a great fasten point for pulling and tying down branches.
