Organic grow with compost tea as main feed

Dehumidifiers I found are a little less then portable AC units. Maybe find one on eBay or Craigslist

Hey I’m not good at navigating around this forum yet but I will post some picks of clones when lights come on. How are your BD coming along. Well I hope. My clones are flowering because I have them on same 12/12 as rest. Don’t know what to do ??

Is compost tea good for flowering or just veg? A friend told me to avoid fertilizing during flowering to prevent burning but since compost tea protects from mild issues would it be good to help protect the buds? I’m assuming Foliar spray of buds would be bad for Mold, would you just spray leaves or spray early in morning?

I wouldn’t suggest foliar spraying your plants past 2-3 weeks into flower with anything. Just my opinion.
You can brew a aerated compost tea during all stages of growth and water that in.

*Teas are great during flowing. With a few minor adjustments they can really make a difference.
*We don’t use a foliage spray at all. I was told many years ago that if you start to foliage feed your plants they will get adapted to it and ā€˜expect’ it. Just something we veer away from.

@SaTeeva I thought you might like the tag. There is some good info within this thread about Organic growing. Follow along because there will be plenty more info to come as the season progresses.

Johnnystein-
55-60% humidity is not that bad. Ideally you would like it to be just a little lower, say 50%. You should be ok. If you check your humidity level after you water your plants it will be higher. If you have good air movement you shouldn’t have a problem. If you need to, do some pruning- to give lower buds more light and to make sure there’s good airflow through the plant. Good luck! Peace…

I love growing organic. Soil and microbes do all the work pretty much.

Yes, I like to keep things simple. I really don’t think it can get any easier. JMHO. Especially
With photo. Transplant into amended soil twice maybe 3 times, top dress around the 5 week of flower with like a 4-8-4 and there you go. Oh and can’t forget a tea.

@Skydiver , keep in mind ,that a compost tea is only as good as the compost. ( if your compost has been sterilized you are better off top dressing. ) if you brew it too long , it can go anaerobic ( really not good , but the bugs will love it). Adding too much sugar can throw off the balance of your tea. Cleaning your equipment is most important, treat your equipment like you are about to go into surgery. If you are not good with detail cleaning, finding a good vermicompost and kelp meal and top dressing it every 3 weeks would be better.

I seen a video about using a handful of soil under a pine tree, supposed to be loaded with microbes, pines stay green all year ,and don’t forget the worm castings. Microbes have a way of bringing soil back to life.

I can see that , the fallen pine Needles will create a mulch, which will create a environment for microbes to grow

The soil primer I use is made from pine. Love the stuff.

Wow small world that’s cool
Got to go find me a pine tree.
My recipe is compost, worm castings, coco and perlite and some amendments from down to earth.
I also like using white clover as a cover crop

My base is leftover soil from previous grow, worm casings, pulverized egg shells, soil primer (made from pune) and perlite and one copper penny-old wives take from my %100 percent Irish Granny. Sometimes I have to supplement with screed garden soil. I mulch the outside girls with grass clippings. They all practically grow themselves. I just add water/tea and dry amendments. I’ll never grow any other way!

I am doing the same for our vegetables and flowers-the gardens have never looked better. We have more birds and insects than ever before.

Love it. Especially the penny ,I’m going to try that on my next run. I wish I could grow outside like you but my state Fronds about that.
I even seen some put a egg in the bottom of the hole.

Thanks yes I boil my air stones and clean my bucket out with peroxide before each use.
I seen already some just let the brew steep 12 to 24 hours bat guano and water
