Using boogie brew mix and my own worm bin poo.
I really don’t have to clean anything after a brew other than the air stones and the bucket and that’s simple and quick with a rinse.
Use the spent sludge as a top dress in other soil I’ll reuse again.
Been brewing teas since I started to grow this herb.
Yea anaerobic tea isn’t something I use.
Thanks for the reply and enjoy the day

In my opinion that isn’t really necessary but if it makes you feel more comfortable doing it than by all means do it.
I simply rinse my stones off and scrub with old tooth brush and then run them in water bubbling for a bit after brew and clean my bucket with warm water and rinse it out. Have only been through maybe 3 sets of air stones in over 3 years as eventually they get clogged up and have reduced output.

Thanks I don’t particularly care for the boiling part because it softens the air stones and I’m not sure if the glue holding them together leaches into the tea. I’m going to take your advice.
And yes bubbling them in clean water rinses them out pretty good

Deleted other post coped wrong link. This video says a lemon says a lemon will neutralize chlorine and chloramine

Simply bubbling water for an hour (agitating it removes it quicker) or just letting it sit for a day will dissipate chlorine from water.
Now Chloramine is a different story. Luckily they don’t use that in my water. Just Chlorine.

Yea your lucky they use it in are city water (chloramine )from the sewage plant here. It’s a shame but they do.
The video said lemon works but I don’t trust it. I also heard stress coat for fish aquariums works also.
I buy deer park spring water. Got to be better then the stuff coming from city, I hope so anyway. Thanks

I use this stuff it’s under 20 bucks and last 4ever, literally a pinch per gallon of water and done I have seriously horrible hard water though so I mix 50/50 RO n tap to get it down to 250 ppm which imo is perfect for plants

mmmm mmm mmm. It’s almost the weekend again. Tea time on the farm! Better than any local golf course. We all have our own styles and tweaks we enjoy with our growing. This is what works for me. Happy growing…
Whats in your tea recipe?
If you have chlorine in your water or even if you ā€˜think’ you might. Bubble the water for 24 hours prior to introducing any of your ingredients. We want to start with clean water
Minimum of 36 hour brew. Feeding within 30 minutes of turning of bubble stones.

  • Worm castings (large tea bag)
  • Natural humus (Large tea bag) This is key!
  • Fish/ Crab hydrolysate
  • Liquid bat guano
  • Bio live
  • Molasses unsulphured.
  • Cal-Mag Iron.

@trx The tea recipe I listed a few posts up would solve your problem. Simply adding a few of the listed ingredients to your soil would probably help. Work on creating a healthy soil and your little girl will fall into line
Happy growing…
