Not particularly happy with what I have (a Chinese Apera knock-off.) Thinking about upgrading the real deal and looking at the Apera PC60 5-in-1. Opinions? I want to get the best bang for the buck and I’m not opposed to laying down some good cash for a good product.

I use Blue Lab and the meter’s let you know when to clean. A check mark will disappear when it’s time. I have two sets and have used them for four years now.

I like my Apera. I check the calibration a couple times a month and it is almost never off. I do have a Blue Lab truncheon that I really like.

The apera 60 comes highly recommended along with the blue lab tester’s. A purchase of either would make you happy I’m sure

I have PH20 and TDS20. Once I figured out how to use TDS20 I’ve had no issues. Bought the PH20 first before I realized you can get the 5 in 1.

Everyone is giving you great advice. I use a Bluelabs soil pH pen and an Extech500 combination pH/TDS/Salinity. Both are top notch and the price tags are right up there as well.
I would purchase both again if I had it to do over, great products that are worth every cent.

I use the ph-60. Not the 5 in one though. It’s my second apera. Zero complaints.

Apera PH20 and cheapo chinese TDS meter have worked well for me, but I plan to upgrade to something less fragile if the PH20 ever breaks. A TDS meter, for our purposes, isn’t as particular as pH, in my opinion. If you’re buying one that does both anyway, go for it! But if you’re getting separate meters, the $10 TDS meter does exactly the same thing as the $50 one.

The apera ph 60 meter with the replaceable probes has been a great investment and has worked great for me

@MidwestGuy instrumentation is one of those things you get what you pay for. I’m not a fan of a multimeter, I like the apera . Lot of good meters just don’t buy a cheap one.
