So I had two feminized Bruce banner autos. One I left going wayyyyy to long and weirdly enough she had some fire bud but also I got a bunch of seeds out of it? Literally have found 30 on a single stem/branch. Are any of these seeds gonna germ and produce a decent new plant or are they just trash seeds that aren’t gonna do anything? I had thought only females had seeds when they got fertilized from a male plant and then early don’t produce any bud. Anyways please lmk about these seeds and how this is possible.

stress can cause the ladies to hermie. where did seeds come from?
It was off a branch, it was underneath the bud slights/on them.
Congratulations!
Those should be auto fem Bruce Banner seeds with a teensy chance of being herm.
You likely got some nanners like these on her.
I kept plucking them off this one so I didn’t get seeds.
I just harvested 2 like this. Seeds came from a buddy who had one self pollinate like that. Purple “something” auto.
So all of these seeds will produce actual plants? And are they worth growing/keeping? Wondering how this even possible and how these seeds came along. It’s like it fert itself.
All of the seeds have potential to grow healthy, lush plants. Coming from a likely herm, they also have that potential. Best bet, drop one or three and see where they go. They will be feminized, but again, potential herm.
No guarantee but all things being equal health wise, then yes they should. Just check for any damage and that they look mature (the ones in the photo do look good).
They could!
Remember the scene in Jurassic Park movie, “Nature finds a way”.
Too much light late in flower is what caused my nanner issue.
Magnified you can really see where they get their nickname.
Running bag seed in a few myself. Last run a hermie gave me some seeds in a really nice mystery plant. I expect some hermie but will drop 5 or so and cullem. Grats. Can be nice plants. This is a hermie i let go. Just kept the pods down. Was too nice to kill. Oils….
Great, unfortunate Photos! Saving to archive.
From what I’ve read, hermies will produce a ton of “herminized” seeds. Chuck them out! Nanners tend to only pollinate a bud or two, and the seeds they produce are sought after. Because it isn’t really a true male flower, it has female genes and will produce feminized seeds.
I had a couple of nanners on my Bruce Banner auto about month or so ago. Used tweezers and plucked all 4 off. In hindsight, I should have just put a plastic bag over that bud and let that one branch seed out. But I need more smoke than plants right now!
Keep them and plant them!
Yep, a stressed plant that produces nanners is not a full blown hermie. The self-pollinated seeds I just finished have produced zero visible nanners and behaved like every auto seed I have grown. The one with nanners in the pics I posted (that one is ILGM Bubba Kush) produced only a few (less than 5) immature seeds
Great pics!! very informative for the visual learners!! Lol but haven’t seen it like that before thanks!
Nothing to I could add to @HMGRWN has stated. Here’s a sour Diesel auto I’m growing from a seed off one of my runs. Time will tell
Imo we spend too much on energy and equipment to risk running seeds that you know have some potential to herm.
I ran one seed from a plant that secretly hermied on me. That plant ended up kicking out sacs faster than I could pluck them. If you’re in a pinch and have no other seeds, then no harm in running them. If you have good seeds, go with those.
Anybody know if this is ready or keep waiting? Time frames etc? Thanks guys!! @OGIncognito @Graysin @merlin44 @Borderryan22 @beachglass @dbrn32
