OKay, My Green Doctor Friends -

Any suggestions? My runoff was 6.5 I know I show nute burn signs ( yellow tips of leaves) so watered with a 6.5 pH water ( half gallon) .
I already know I over defoliated, but the color difference is confusing me right now.
Maybe Permanent Marker should be smoked after I garden and not before, as well.
@Riskguy, @Darran anyone???

@SpaceyX i can’t remember the details of your grow. If you can give some of the details mentioned in the above we can dial you in. It looks like a long list, but give it a shot.

I do not see anything out of whack…they might just be hungry. Takes a lot of energy to grow back the leaves. Only suggestion I have is to up the feed some.

Do you add any Calmag?

If not I would give them a dose

@Riskguy said what I’d suggest.

Give it some Cal-mag, and 2 more weeks.
Yeah, I get it.

Cut your light cycle back to 18/6, agree with @Riskguy looks a little hungry :love_you_gesture:

For an auto, Can you tell me what benefits would come from the 18/6 light cycle rather than the 24/0.
I’m a student at this time and I want to know why I should do that prior to doing so.
But please let this be something that resembles plant biology.
I am all ears and actually eager to hear back.

My understanding is the dark hours are when plants heal themselves and produce secondary metabolites. That is important in flower because the precursors to THC and terpenes are secondary metabolites.

Okay. That makes sense or at least to me it does, I’ll go check it out in depth. But I pulled out my :hourglass_done: and set it already.
I hope I dont shock it or stress it by changing now

Agree on cutting back the hours and let her rest a bit. How far away is the overhead light? The yellowing is occurring around where most lights project the most intense light.

11". Not gonna lie.
75% output because of that reason.
Roughly 700 ppfd right now total
18/6 it is.
I’ve got it on the timer now.
I’m doing a full conversion closet for my grow space. I’ve seen it pulled off pretty good .
I’ll have a better home for them there.
New light will be here.
Got new PH/ tds /PPM meter.
Started two new autos today in soil to germinate.
I’ll try tomorrow to raise light a few inches.

Bump those PPMs up around 850 Grow Gro, check the leaves for any adverse signs from the increased lighting intensity. She shouldn’t see anything or much at all by dialing back the hours :love_you_gesture:

I’ve tried to hint at others about this . Even though weed is a C3 plant and doesn’t “need” a dark period one can exceed the DLI Daily Light Integral in 24 hrs and the plant will just shut down photosynthesis . There are other complex reasons that weed actually does need a dark period . But what do I know , I’ve only been growing for 50 years give or take . Peace .
