Ok here I go The start of my outdoors

He’s looking close Dave, going to pollinate anything this run or just collect and store for down the road? :love_you_gesture:

Let the sacs open and collect and dry a day then cut the pollen with some corn starch and store it away in the freezer :love_you_gesture:

Everything I have now is a bit to far into flower, so I will be collecting and storing. Hopefully correctly for the fall harvest. I will have a bunch of different things growing, so depending on which plants are what I like will get some pollen. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Sounds like a plan Brother, I’m pretty impressed with the Skunk man’s Skunk #1 and have 2 cuttings in my aero garden and might reverse one and seed the other with the pollen :thinking:. I need to build my stash back up, I donated over a pound this month to my disabled veteran group :love_you_gesture:

What is your thoughts on pollinating an auto flower with reg pollen? Will that be considered a fast flowering plant. I was thinking of an auto run indoors this summer( oh the wife ain’t to happy) and seeing what would become of this.

I was gifted a few of his seeds that I really want to grow. Just don’t know if I want to grow them outdoors. I believe I have the Skunk #1, Pure indica, and brain fog on the other one. :face_with_spiral_eyes::man_facepalming:

Funny you ask that, I’ve wondered about that myself many times and keep forgetting to ask Gary. Not sure if those would be 50/50 photo or auto or what the end result would be :thinking::love_you_gesture:

I definitely recommend the Skunk, nice big plant, big buds and very little leaves. The Purest Indicas are pretty small :love_you_gesture:

Well if all goes to plan, looks like ill find out. It will be Gary’s genetics that will get some pollen. I know his Juicy P****y is a very good smoke. I will be growing it, and many others, lol, add some pollen, and see what happens.

@Dforce good morning brother, I too am very interested in seeing how this turns out. Me and my grandson had talked about what would become of crossing the photo pollen with the auto but we’ve never tried it yet. In fact neither one of us are doing autos at this time. Was hoping it would get legal here then I can do some autos outside. Plant them in early spring they would be ready before the humidity and Bud rot problem set in. I will be following along it will be interesting to see how this turns out. Not sure on what would be the best method for catching pollen, I think @Blackmoon catches a good bit of pollen. I know he’s posted before on his journal how he did it you might could check that out. Or maybe he would post it again to make it easier to check out. It look like he was collecting a good bit of pollen using his method though. :waving_hand::waving_hand::victory_hand::victory_hand:

Who is the breeder? I have 6 original skunk #1 seeds from authentic genetics seed co. Being delivered tomorrow. I guess the strain came from a gentleman they called skunkman sam.

Only experience I have is with bag seeds When I first started trying to grow I actually grew a couple of male plants by accident of course the male plant bloomed and made some seedy Bud’s but that was the normal back then no one to my knowledge ever heard about feminized seeds pretty much everyone smoked seedy weed! Hey @Dforce that’s pretty cool what your trying with the Kona Red Hopefully it gives you some offspring! Looks like some good Genetics going on :100::victory_hand:

Good Morning Bud. I will try with aluminum foil 1st. I also saw @merlin44 I believe try using cups wraped around the stem, that looked interesting.

They are Authentic Genetics, I hope to get a female. I saw you had bad luck with that, but see they took care of you. Great people

Thanks for the tag @Dforce I used parchment paper muffin liners to catch some pollen. I am certain that there are better ways. :man_mage: This method seemed to work. I have seeds forming on the flowers that I pollenated.

Hi there @merlin44
Thats ingenious and decorative what ever works what i say
Main thing is you catch some of the pollen
And depending on the plant structure and how its grown out will dictate how you catch the pollen
Cheers :clinking_beer_mugs:  :victory_hand:
