Ok changed medium to coco

Hey guys ok so 3rd run in going to coco. Will be using Canna coco nutes and booster… My question is do I need to buffer the coco before using it and if so what do I need to buffer it with help please guys

No - it is washed and buffered

I rinse the perlite before adding it. It has a lot of dust.

I won’t be using perlite I’m going to put a layer of pebbles in the bottom

Hope you don’t mind me jumping in. I pretty sure that coco line is slightly buffered with Trichoderma only. I buffer my coco with calmag, recharge and jacks 321 and around 300-500 for dropping beans. Hope that helps :love_you_gesture:

I use the bricks myself. I rehydrate them with a tiny splash of silica either fish shit or tribus and full strength Jack’s 321. Love it

Some growers are using whiffle ball golf balls instead. Clay balls might be a better choice than pebbles too (hydroton).
