Does different kinds of nutrients influence the tastes and effect of the plant?

Assuming the correct nutrient levels the main factor is genetics.

I used different types of nutrients starting out and never noticed a difference in taste when I grew in soil or CocoLoco. After switching to AutoPots and cocoa I settled on the GH Flora trio and one thing I have to say is if I don’t give my plants at least 10days of plain water I can’t even smoke it. Actually threw a few plants away because I couldn’t stand the chemical taste and wouldn’t even give it away to someone else. I never flushed before but definitely do now!

Not IME. I’ve used MG, FF, CX, and Jack’s, and never could tell a difference.
I feed continuously though harvest now in my DWC and coco bag grows, so plain water and flushing aren’t in my repertoire anymore.
