Nutes for Deep Water Culture

Ok thank you @Retiredoldguy that makes sense, so if your plants consumed water and you need to top it of in between feedings you just refill your totes with water to keep it at the right level ?

for me yes…in between change outs I only put in 0ppm water no nutrients to keep the tote/reservoir at the right level…seems to work for me

lol that is gorgeous looking
Reminds me sort of color wise of this one

I don’t use DWC but was considering it ,wound up using ac Infinity self watering bases instead ,
Still always interested in dwc and im sure I’ll try it eventually

Thank you, do you ever mesure the ppm in your reservoir in between changes to see how much they have consummed ?
I also noticed that your PH is kinda high for dwc, is that on purpose ?

morning @Clandestino …I measure PPM and PH daily in my reservoir/tote …in my grow setup I have learned that I don’t need to adjust PH between change outs except the first use of the tote/reservoir as all the new stuff affects things so I usually adjust ph once in the first few days of operation but then after that I don’t…I have found the plant will make the PH go where it wants…it can be high, 7ph for a few days and then one day go down to 4ph…I don’t see any issues in my plants when this happens…I used to chase the PH and try to keep it at certain level but the plant would fight me and push it in another direction…and which direction is that you may ask…well during veg as the plant takes in Nitrogen it will cause the ph to rise towards 7ph and as it takes more of the other nutrients the ph will go down …and during flower when the plant is taking in more P & K and less nitrogen she will drive the PH towards 4ph…maybe because I change out weekly I don’t have enough time to see the bad effects of the ph swing or it really doesn’t matter as much as some say it does…even at ph levels of 4 and 7 my girls still drink and take in nutrients and I don’t see any signs of bad growth…just my experience with single plant reservoir/tote grows…

Wow ok nice, thats really good to know.
I probably woul have panicked if would see that happen now i can put my mind a ease.
Thank you so much you are really helpfull @Retiredoldguy
