I have the same system but with 5 gal. pots. I run separate hoses from the controller to each pot so that if there’s a problem with one line clogging up they all don’t suffer. I only grow three plants at a time due to the large size of the plants. In veg. stage I feed 5 times in the 18 hrs for a half hour each feeding. No feeding during lights out. Once in flower I cut the feeding down to 4 in the 12 hrs at a half hour each feeding. As far as your pots raising as it fills, I drilled a couple of small holes through both pots and tied them together with garden wire to keep the top pot from rising.
