To be honest I got it and forgot to write you back. Then I couldn’t remember how to get to my mailbox (still don’t know how btw). Found it in my notifications thing and took a pic of it. Thanks again!

@Not2SureYet about how many plastic golf balls do you put in the bottom of your pots? I’m going to try some.

You ever get roots growing thru the potsock into the tray?

I sure did. Had to cut them throughout the grow because they went into my floats.

Yep me too…

That’s a big clump! Watch them to make sure they don’t get into the valve and cause it to stay open or shut.

Yeah, most of that was in 1 tray, a little from another. Glad I caught it. Lesson learned

I was surprised when I noticed the roots popping through the pot sock. Just shows how much they will grow.

I’m gonna email them for the heck of it. Maybe next run I’ll use 2 socks on each pot

Sorry. I started with 3 layers. About 18 balls I think. Now, I think I am seeing that one layer would do just as good. I have a single layer for my auto. My thoughts are. The roots are closer to the feed. And will pick up quicker. All 3 in my 5’ tent have the golf balls and are doing great. Easier to deal with than the pebbles for sure.

I ordered a bunch to try out. The little pebbles are difficult to separate from the coco. I’ll just mix them in and see what happens.

i have 2 beans to drop in my coco first time i know i probaly already asked, but what is the procedure (new to coco vermont pre buffered. thanks in adv.

Forgot to ask is it pre buffered with ph’d water?

yes vermont organics so should just plant and water with very light nute solution correct?

You don’t have to feed when you first plant the seeds. At the first little watering I will give some nutes and then pretty much every time after that.

Well I don’t have too much going on right now. Five out of the six seeds pooped. The blue dream was the only one not to germinate. Dropped another to take it’s place but will be a few days behind. Happy growing folks!

After two years of being careful and dodging Covid it finally caught us. We had someone in our house test positive yesterday after a fever the night before. The infection rate here has been really higher for a bit now and I know multiple people that have it and have had it recently. We will be home for a few days and hopefully it passes quickly.
