@Myfriendis410 Damn, that sounds super efficient. Now im thinking of investing in this for my next grow rather than fabric pots haha. What stops growers from using this if its that efficient?
I see this a lot in big growing facilities. Guess its usefull and less time consuming for all the amount of plants they have in there
@ashhhh There are more in here that use these as well @Nicky, and my brain froze lol I just started using these last grow. It really makes things easier on me. Especially when it is hot out. Plus. I can leave for days now if I want. You can kind of see the pots in here now. Tomorrow I will make sure to show them. There are some good videos showing the set up on youtube as well.
I have been working on the scrog for some of the day. Till it got to hot in there for me. I am getting closer to done in here though.
Beautiful setup, I know myfriendis410 loves working with his hands and you guys live down the street from each other, so you guys must be building your own stuff a lot together! Love it. Id love to check out your youtube channel so i can see more of your setup
@Mote The TXL is a triple XL from Lineage genetics. Can you pm me your addy. I thought I had it. I will get you a few of these. And see what the other was I was going to get to you. @TLC, I look for the coarse stuff. I also get the vermeculite in bags like this. I would guess I am about a 60/40 mix heavier on the coco side.
Normally it is a lot cheaper. But every one seems to be using the cov as an excuse to jack prices up. All my grow stuff cost at least 50% more to buy now I canāt even get more coco bricks right now either. I am glad I keep a good back up.
@ashhhh, I will be doing the vid tomorrow. All my videos on here can only be accessed if you have the link. They are not set to public. You may be able to click on my user name there to see more.
Alan built my plant stands I have now, my lights and more that slips me right now He is my official taster too. I now need a replacement lol
Gogo autopot team
There has yet to be an autopot section, *cough @dbrn32@Myfriendis410@latewood, but there are a couple that use them and more growing every week it seems. @TDubWilly grows in soil autopots @Reitus just started using them
And others I can recall the momentā¦
If your looking at getting the TXL keep in mind the shipping is super slow from lineage genetics right now I waited like way long so order seeds asap. I have yet to grow mine because I want to try them in my area outdoor.
Any questions about APās let me know happy growing.
It is a type of hydro but I feel line inside hydro should be an autopot sectionā¦ Because itās like hydro for newbs but itās epic and easy and the way of the future really.
Until aeroponics gets more popular
Ok, here is a quick up date and my room still being worked on. Both of the reservoirs are in the closet opposite of the seedlings. I forgot about them.
Thanks for the clarification
New one for me, but they all are, so TXL is this crossā¦ Northern Lights #5 X Big Bud X Green Crack ?
You and @Myfriendis410 have piqued my interest on the Promix.
Iām in 50/50 Coco/Happy Frog right now but I think the HF might be playing a little havoc,
its still āLoadedā afic.
The main reason I dont want to go 100% coco is the more frequent waterings but if I do a 50/50 Coco/ProMix it might be more of a benign combination (w added water retention via the ProMix) that the nutes will dictate what the hell happens and be much more manageable, at least thatās my theory for now. Gotta flush some girls today?
Going to re-read what you guys said about the Vermiculite, all good stuff. How much vermiculite do you add per gallon of medium? approximately
Great Videos Man! love the scrog you created, very ingenious and if thatās a disorganized setting Iām in trouble Love the pizz box reflector too
Have a great day, keep cool!
I see more water retention with coco. I like Promix HP exactly because it drains so well. If you are looking for less watering you would benefit from these Autopots as well: whichever substrate you use I donāt think will matter as much.
Ok, Thank you. I had that backwards then
Do you find yourself watering more frequently w ProMixHP (as opposed to coco) because it drains so efficiently??
Interesting!!! being half in half out I dont know the true qualities of 100% coco.
Thank you again, thats very helpful I assure you Will give it a shot, actually cheaper than HF plus Iāll be needing it soon enough.
(done been ordered ;o)
I do see faster more vigorous plants in media as opposed to soil and the quirks of the substrate arenāt so hard to deal with. Coco is renewable resource; peat is not. If that factors into your purchasing decision.
It doesnt, plus Iāll be doing 50/50 mix or something like it anyway. I remember ProMix from when I first joined the forum but there were so many (in my mind) different types I kind of just skipped it.
Iām excited to try it out, I try to keep an open mind and I just might strike the balance that Iām looking for as far as a mix of both coco/ProMix Watering daily is not an option, I already spend way too much time on this hobby as it is Thank you Sir!
Iām happy to hear that Kaptain, in regular soil I can do every 4 days, w the mix I got now that 4th day may be a bit of a stretch but Iām just making it to that. Already ordered so time to give it a go w some of the pee wees I got going now are ready for their big girls home.
