Hello all,
I’m the cliche 1st time grower using Jack’s 321. I am about to transition into flower and after searching this forum as well as the rest of the internet as best as I could I’m left with a few remaining questions.
I’m current running 1 Bubba Kush 2 Rosetta Stones and 1 Gelato. Ocean Forest in 5 gallon pots and Jacks 321 just started about 2 weeks ago. I plan on flipping in a week or so.

Hello all,
I’m the cliche 1st time grower using Jack’s 321. I am about to transition into flower and after searching this forum, as well as the rest of the internet as best as I could, I’m left with a few remaining questions.
I’m growing (1) Bubba Kush, (2) Rosetta Stones, and (1) Gelato. I’m running in Ocean Forest soil in 5 gallon pots and I started feeding Jacks 321 about 2 weeks ago. I have also been giving Recharge once a week and I started Silica recently. I plan on flipping to flower within a week or so after about 7 weeks of veg. Since I’m using Jack’s 321, should I use any kind of bloom booster or anything else along with Jack’s? I’ve seen people state nothing is needed, just Jack’s all the way through. I have also seen people suggest a number of things to add. Through my research I’ve currently landed on Monopotassium Phosphate and Fulvic Acid but I don’t know if this would be correct or a a waste. Any input would be much appreciated!
Thank you.

Great looking plants!
You have lots of options when it comes to Jack’s.
I run Jack’s straight through, start to finish. There are other ways and options.
If it were me, I would go start to finish for the first grow. Do some research, get informed and then you can make a more educated decision about how you want to run it.
Once you learn more about it and get a feel of how it works, then you’ll be more comfortable making different altercations.
There is a whole topic here about using Jacks. Find folks that use it. There are a lot of folks that use it. See their grows and how they use it.
There are multiple ways to run Jacks during the transition. If you have specific question about it, ask away. If I need to tag some folks in, let me know. Good luck and keep’em growin!

I use Jacks 321 and do nothing different all the way through.
There is a couple members who tried bloom boosters at the start of flowering and said they really saw no difference than just sticking with the 321 formula. The advice already given about sticking with the one formula for your first grow is perfect. It works great and you wont be disappointed at all.

I’m also Jack’s 321 straight through. Both outdoors in FFOF and inside with Coco coir. I will never go back to anything else.

Thanks! I think I’m going straight Jack’s this run.

Seems like what I’m seeing. There is a YouTuber named GreenGeans Garden and he seems to have it locked but he doesn’t have much online.
Nice plants! I think I’ll go Just Jack’s this first time. Do you use anything along with Jack’s 321?

There is a modified program where you change the ratio from 3-2-1 to 2-2-2 plus 1.2 of MKP. This is done at flip and run for three weeks then resume original ratio. I do this and believe I see an improved yield.
FYI silica isn’t really necessary nor Fulvic acid if running in soil.

I’m in Piney’s camp.
Best looking most healthy ones I’ve grown since switching to 321

Just silica with the Coco Coir, and honestly not every watering. Jack’s every watering though.
I’m in hydro. Like @Myfriendis410 said, modified first 21days of flower then back to 3-2-1 which is actually
3.6g/gal part A
1.0g/gal Epsom salt
2.4 g/gal part B
Mixed in this order.
I use some homemade Terminator with mine. Maybe a difference.
I’m doing a grow now adding liquid kool bloom. Haven’t really seen a difference.
I’ll never use anything else now

And I don’t use silica. Should I?

It’s a necessary micronutrient for plant strength and trichome production.
It’s inexpensive and so long as you mix it first, it mixes well.

I’ve used it before, just not since using Jack’s.
