ILGM Northern Lights Autoflower on Day 18 - indoor grow in coco/perlite in fabric pots. What am I seeing here? Magnesium deficient? pH going in is about 6.0.

There’s a problem with the leaf?
Ok, I was thinking there might be - wasn’t sure if the lighter color between the veins (or darker colored veins) was normal or if I was starting to see a deficiency or toxicity of some sort. I had horrible issues around the 4th week last go round as I didn’t bother buffering the coco. This time it got a good 10 hour soak - but I think I might have gone a little low on the CalMag - buffered with pH 6.0 water & 2ml/gal of CalMag. Germinated seeds went straight in to the substrate. Maybe I’m just being a little paranoid.
I’m just joking around with you. I honestly don’t see any issues but I am by no means a pro. Maybe one of them will chime in if they see a problem. To me, it looks healthy. Not dark green, the tips aren’t curling up or down or showing burning.
We’ll see what others say though
What’s the whole plant look like by chance
Beautiful
Look fine to me
Hey @diz – You wanna start a thread on your NL? Give us some details? Are you misting on the leaves by chance?
Still looks perfectly healthy to me. Only suggestion from the pics would be to fill up your pot higher with your soil. That’s just lost space the roots could’ve used to get her bigger.
Yeah, rookie mistake. First time buffering from solid coco blocks, and I was in a hurry to get the seeds in. LOL
Thinking they should be good to go for LST, or should I let them get just a little bigger?
You can start LST now. The earlier the better.
Not the best picture, but it looks to me like those leaves I was watching continued to go downhill, but the newer growth looks fine now. Went ahead and pulled them back today…
Your LST job looks nice! Plants look healthy. I’m sure it’s the view but I don’t see any issues with the leaves like you mentioned. How old are they now? Common for the bottom leaves to start to yellow and die off first.
Thanks! Just took these today (Day 25). I had noticed in my previous 2 grows (White Widow Auto & Girl Scout Cookies Extreme Auto) that the lower leaves go first, but not as quickly as this seemed to happen.
BTW, can I go ahead and prune these damaged/dying lower leaves? And at what point do I stop LST? Is it once I see the hairs poking out of the node sites and can sex the plant? I know you want to back off around the transition to flowering. Can it be resumed once in flower for a week or two after the transition?
In kinda looks like Zinc and or Magnesium deficiency.
@Covertgrower what say you?
I was thinking magnesium at the very least - as I only buffered with 2ml/gal of CalMag. Since I first posted this, I’ve been going with 5ml/gal in water/feed - which I think probably corrected the issue. Thinking I might back off on that now, to maybe 3 for the rest of the grow.
