Sounds like a great deal. Gives you 200 watts. Both dimmable gives you lots of control.
I think the LEDs would do well yeah. That is the tough part of HPS lights, you got plenty of wattage but the heat can really hurt the plants. I had quite a few leggy plants too cuz the light had to be so far from the plant

Lights will come with info on how to set them up.
I start seeds in a solo cup and then at 2 weeks plant in final home. Sometimes I just plant the seed in the final container after an overnight soak.
This new lighting will change your grow completely. You will be amazed.

I’ve been doing a little test with the LED vs metal. I must say I can really see the difference between them and how they strech vs growing all nice n tight brach spacing as in the LED picture. So I ordered the light you suggested so now I’m like a little kid at Christmas waiting for my present!!! I’m going to take your suggestion and only do 1 plant at a time. So I’m doing a auto the next run to see what happens

I have one blurple light left that works great for seedlings. The new light will make you very happy.
How many hours on and off would you recommend i run the LED light?

For the new plant? 18/6
If its an autoflower then just stay on that schedule.
If its a photo period then switch to 12/12 around 4 or 5 weeks when you have a good amount of growth.
It’s an auto. Why so long on the light cycle I thought it didn’t matter how long because of the cross genetics it has an automatic clock due to rudelius and saliva cross?

Light is the energy that drives growth. Because its on a clock you only have 3 to 5 weeks on average before it starts flowering so you want as much growth as possible before that happens.18 hours is a good spot as it gives a short dark period for the plant too. Some growers do autos on a 24/0 light schedule with good results. I tend to like giving them some dark time for natural plant cycles to occur.

OK I got the new LED’S today. I bought 2 but only am going to put 1 up for now 
because of the auto that’s about 1/2 done & don’t have much room to maneuver in the closet so I’m just going to wait until it’s done and clean up and install both right for 2 plants. I sure like the control panel so “THANK YOU FOR THE INSIDE INFO & TREATING ME LIKE A PERSON & NOT AN IDIOT”.
I will keep U updated thru Feb & March. I can’t wait to see what the trichomes do plus you can see some foxtailing as well hopefully that willl go bye-bye with the new LED’S correct???

350R and 260D-K are great except they don’t heat my tents in winter.
Lung room is garage and unheated.
Vipar Spectras used to keep tent from freezing (twice the electricity for half the outputof the HLG’s).
My small, Viviosun 1000 light in in the 2x2, no intake/exhaust fans, just one 6-inch fan inside tent, moving air.
USB microscope, on a stand (-1500X) if you like bud porn.

FYI…you can get an adaptor for the USB to USB-C(phone/tablet) for mine(can’t remember name but got on Amazon) because I choose to get the 1000X without the monitor.

Question:
Do I need to program the LED to dim(1) for cuttings, seedlings and early veg or can I just run it at 10(full) for everything ??? Also, I’m keeping it roughly at 4" from canopy is that good or bad??? Plus I’m liking your advice on a 18/6 light cycle. 
. Can these lights be daisy chained or is it 1 light per grow area???
I usually just set my clones to the side or on the floor so the light is not so intense. 7 to 10 days later they should be rooted and you can bring back closer to the lights.
4 inches may be a bit close. 12 to 16 might be better as it will be more evenly spread out over the plant. You should have some info that came with the light or maybe download it from the website. I have a different brand of light though similar in quality.

Not 2 much heat right…
That 1000W and 600W HPS & metal halide were just to much for my closet & those were even tall walls 10 footers! Fans with door open always too. LED puts off maybe 25% of the heat sooooooo much nicer. . Thanks again.

These are WAY DIFFERENT brach structure than I got from the 600W or 1000W. Their much tighter together which means that they are getting more lumens correct? The finished medicine is much better 
. I’m very pleased with this & THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE ADVICE.!!! I’m even going to get a 2nd light now.

Yes, tighter denser buds are the result. You can still get airy buds, especially with autos, but your new light will give the better results as the genetics allow.
