No i let it set for couple week so it will activate the biochar have to activate it before using it if not its not it’s just in there but i activate it about month ago with grass clippings and worm casting there several way to activate it

I go back in mountains and I find the biggest tree i can find go to the base of tree where the roots meet the ground back in little Crooks and crannies get underneath the leave and dig couple cup of black soil it where i get microorganisms its full of them old friend of mine showed me that long time ago i also get it to brew with tea awesome stuff

Thats interesting Brother I have read a little about adding things to the soil, but that sounds pretty interesting, cant beat an adventure wandering in the woods.
I have thought about bringing some of my garden soil in and trying it out. Works great outside curious as always.

@Bunger64 you can do just that I’ve done it many many times. You can get soil from mountains and add little this and that and make awesome soil all organic matter

Not in my area. Theres areas they mined the clay to cover landfills. Im in a glacial field but have some wonderful soil in my garden. Mixed some in with my soil last night.
