No run off. My ph is good

My pots are hudge and I dont get run off. Should I feed more till I get run off or not? I test my ph in my food and my soil ph is good to. Will I get root rot ? I’m 2 weeks in flower.

Hard to get root rot in soil unless you’re watering like crazy

Take a chunk of wet soil 5 hours after you water, preferably a chunk a little bit closer to the roots, pull it out and put it in a coffee filter, then squeeze the water out of the soil test that. Should be pretty close to what the root Zone pH is above of the soil

Also people water to runoff anyway no matter the size of their pots, as long as you’re not watering seedlings and we’re talkin about full-sized plants, that way every inch of the roots only gets a little water. Let it dry completely, then repeat the process

Water to runoff

I’m 2 weeks into bud. I cant feed till runoff. I’m thinking that will be to much. Already takes 2 liters without runoff. The plant look good. I’ll flush out with water the last week and then I’ll water till runoff . Am I right ?

What size pots are you in an what kind of soil are you in? I have 10 gallon fabric pots with amended coco soil and I feed them 2.5 gallons of nutrient solution every other day.

Cool. I have 2 in 4 gallon pots , organic soil and I feed them 2 liters, 3/4 gallon of nutrients everyother day . My first crop . Lots of shocking lol . There starting to look ok. There sleeping I’ll post pick in morning.

Most of the plants I grow will suck major massive water amounts during flowering.
Once a plant gets to be about 3’ tall and wider than tall…it sucks up a gallon everyday.
5 gallon bucket.

I would strongly recommend you water to runoff to avoid issues with your plant during flower. Your plant is consuming nutrients and exchanging waste salts with the soil. Your soil is building up toxic salts that will hurt or kill your plants.

Water to about 10% runoff. I have used up to 15 gallon fabric pots and watered to runoff every time. The trick is to allow the soil to dry out between waterings. If the root zone stays wet the plant will develop root rot. Cannabis likes light airy soil with great drainage and on the dry side.

Ok. I just read they like string music so I’m going to start playing my guitar for them and write weed songs.

I think watering & feeding til runoff will be much more effective.

Also, weed seems to like old ragtime music played on a uke.
