No Nutrient Line Used

Day 60 since seeds were planted. Day 36 of flower. 3 gal pots. Not using any nutrient lines. Only feeding a compost brew once a week. (1 gal per plant) Also maintaining an ideal environment. I think they seem a little small? But I wanted to try to keep my first grow as basic as possible. How do you think they look?

The more I learn about cannabis growing, the more conservative I am with nutrients. Think about it: a hydro grow produces generally higher yields while being fed a pretty dilute solution. 900 to 1,200 ppm is usually the peak. Just food for thought.

@Mrcrabs knows the organic side.

I guess thats right, i don’t compare to hydro myself its a different animal as far as my limited knowledge go’s. Basically chemicals vs organics i like soil but never tried hydro to be honest.

My point is it doesn’t need much in soil, if anything.

Ok i see, no argument there. I try to use good soil to keep my hands off. Less is more in my case. I don’t follow the nute schedule just give them what i feel they are asking for. Outside i would imagine nothing but inside i feel you are trying to imitate the outside soil. Has to be a difference unless you are making your own soil and compost mix ect

As long as you don’t see them asking for more nutrients ie. deficiencies, you’re golden. They looks really good! Great job

Imo they look stunning and stacking up nicely, you can’t compare hydro to soil, it’s like saying, let talk cars, you buy a classic mustang do a tune up and do a few burnout And hit the track , its not gona compare to a 2019 mustang cobra, that’s been tuned for racing and have had modifications done. , there both race cars, but in different divisions your doing great, I’ll post some teas for flowering and finish when I get home

I think they look great! The first thing that popped into my mind was whether you’re counting from the day you flipped the lights, or from when they were full on flowering. They look much closer to 20-25 or so days, to me…week 3 or 4ish. They have quite a while to go yet, and will fill out nicely. :+1:

From when I flipped the lights

Ah, there you go. Look up pictures of that strain at week 4. You’re right on target.

They are from the Rev , TRue living Organics, great recipes, you don’t have to use everything to a tee, you can modify to what u have , and use it as a guideline, @801grower

Thank you! What book did you get these from?

Also I’m guessing the recipes are per gallon of water?

True living Organics Second edition by the Rev, great book , I recommend for someone growing organically, yes if you zoom in the pics it has a step by step Directions on how to brew, Went to give , every 10 days I thinks and how to dilute, hope this helps
