the smaller of the plants on the right side of the first pic in the middle is the photoperiod in the solo cup in that pic above posted 11 days earlier.
just some bud shots. had my old canon eos rebel t3 out and thought i would see what it would do with some bud porn. this is from the plant on the top left in the 4 group picture shot above. this was with a 100mm macro lens.
girls are drinking about 3 gallons a day. that’s 7 plants sucking face with the reservoir. loving it. guess i am gonna have to start mixing 5 gallon buckets at a time instead of the 3 gallon bucket. all i can say is drink baby, drink!
another pic update. girls are going thru 5 gal buckets of nutrient every 2 nights now. Dang they be thirsty
got a lot of LST done to my photoperiod yesterday. she’s not going to be long for her own space and light setup. tent is ready and patiently waiting on her. the oldest plants in here are 66 days above soil at this point.
this is a bud from one of the younger plants
this bud is from the plant on the left and in the back
this bud is from 'ol yeller
I also stuck the 'ol blurple in there a couple of weeks ago to throw a lot more red into the tent for the girls. I think I saw that idea from another member in here as one way to get more of the red spectrum for the flowering. don’t know if it’s helping but it for dang sure is not hurting anything in the trichome production department.
Pic update: oldest plants are 10 weeks today from popping heads out of soil. first pic is a little blurry but it’s a jungle in there anyway. 6 plants in the tent now. Moved the photoperiod out of the main tent and into the 2x4 36 hours ago and today is the first day of 12/12 light for her. Light will run 7am till 7pm daily now. Was very curious to see what she looked like after 36 hours in the dark. She was looking pretty dang good, a few places where the leaves started yellowing ever so slightly from a lack of light. Also took 2 clones from her and they are what is in the red solo cups. the clones are really looking a lot better and I think they’re gonna make it just fine.
and of course, a couple of bud shots. these are from 'ol yeller and the plant in the back on the left. these 2 are the furthest along.

here you go @Kshawn
Right on brother. Everything is looking up to par. How big is your tent ? Looks like a fricken gorilla GORILLA tent. Lol. Your plants def have a solid veg. After looking at your plants, I think I’m just gonna do 2 BK autos in my 2x4 and maybe canopy em. Thanks for sharing
thanks brother! that is a vivosun 4x4. that is funny because just to the right of that tent is a 2x4 gorilla tent. i don’t get much traffic on my grow journal but I always update with pics or if something new going on.
I just started getting my beans from ilgm so I’m pretty new to the thread. I’ll doc my next grow which will start in a week or so. I just got a new light for the 2x4 & can’t wait to try it out. I did alot of research & settled on the Mars hydro sp3000. I got it on sale for 340 so I’m stoked. I’ll probably have to buy a new tent so I can operate my other light & not let it go waste. Thanks again for your response & for sharing.
pic update. plants are 11 weeks today. also have a pic of my first photoperiod, a chocolope. she is at the end of 2 weeks under 12/12 and all by her lonesome in her own tent.
here is the chocolope:

ok, so last night we had an emergency here and we had EMS gonna be coming into the house. the old lady panicked and wanted the plants out of the house. EMS are court mandated reporters of illegal activity. in hindsight we would have been way better off to seal up the tent and turn off electricity to everything in the tent and i believe all smell would have been contained in the tent for the duration of EMS being here. as it stands, out of the 6 plants i had in there, 4 are damaged with some large cola’s broken from the rapid evacuation from the tent. moving the plants through the house actually spread that smell throughout the house where there was no smell before. don’t know if the EMS folks smelled it and knew what it was or smelled it and didn’t know what it was. either way they did not call the local authorities. and may be they didn’t really care. who knows. lesson learned on how i’ll handle that situation if it arises again. 4 out of the 6 plants are within a few weeks of harvest and one of the plants was a photoperiod(not ready to harvest) that has now had it’s light schedule interrupted. don’t know how the disruption and damage is going to affect the plants that were close to harvest. guess i’ll know in a few days or so how all the movement and damage has affected them.
Sorry 2 hear that but they will bounce back very resilient ladies
i think they will. appreciate it silvaback. a nerve racking experience to say the least. it’s over now and i will handle it differently if there is a next time. on the bright side, i was able to clean the tent some and re-arranged everything.
so i guess that was a plus to the situation.
on another note, i put the air domes into the auto pots when i first put the pots together. i was able to check the ph of the nutrients lying in the bottom of the pot and ph was high, not terrible. 6.1. water going in has been ph’d to 5.8 so that tells me the air being pumped into the pot via the air domes is effecting ph. so none of the plants are reconnected to the air pump.
Nice gonna have everything on auto pilot
