Newbie that humbly asks for some serious help please

Ok, I have some issues with my 5 auto flowers in DWC.
I have about 1000ppm co2 supplemented
Automated, tube from tank to tent.
3 weeks old

Numbers for 3 different buckets at 73 degrees but have gone up recently
I’m at 300 ppfds

  1. ppm 131. 69 degrees water temp pH 6.5
  2. Ppm 321 68 degrees pH 5.5
  3. Ppm 260 68 degrees pH 6

The heater was left on 4 hours yesterday to 104 degrees (I know, stupid set up)

Plants loved it but obviously had to go down because of water temp.
Put frozen water bottle in buckets to cool it down.
Just did root dip hydrogen peroxide 3 % 3 to 1 ratio
Put 15ml in each bucket per day since algae bloom.
I have advanced Nutrients grow, bloom, Micro small amount at 100ppms and calimag 200 ppms
Check out pics please.

Why is your cal mag higher than your feed nutrients? I would drop the cal for now and feed at 300-350.

Have you checked your ph and made sure it’s staying acceptable? Are you using ro water?

Ok drop calimag down, I did add some more advanced Nutrients the one with 2 percent nitrogen.
Using distilled water. pH levels are between 5.5 and 6.0.

Hey @chris998760 Id turn off CO2 off for now. You can go back to it later when you have some massive vegetative growth.
At this point you want to keep your temp between 80-65F. Also you did not mention humidity levels. Since they are seedlings and have very little leaves the root system is also probable small. They are drying out at the higher temps. Keep you humidity up and temp down until you have some more growth. With the CO2 you would want to pump it up once you are ready to start flower. Then you can jack up lights to +1000 ppfd and temp to 85-65F.
Also I’d rather use beneficial microbes but H2O2 will also work just my tack as HYDROGUARD is my root protector. Also will benefit plants by its symbiotic relationship with roots.
Try using this to monitor and control temp and humidity.

My humidity is always above 60 percent and temp usually at 73 degrees so VPD is about in the range I need.
Why are some of the leaves turning brown along the veins on a couple plants?
Yeah co2 is useless at this stage but I put it on every once in a while.
Co2 level sticks around my closed loop system.
Thanks

PS
I did hydroguard but light got in my tank somehow and it didn’t help anything so I h202 dip and cleaned after algae bloom.

This is my first time and I’m really surprised they all are not dead yet …

I would thoroughly clean the res and start fresh with veg nutrients without cal/mag.
Your base nutes will have everything you need at this stage. I would try to get the temps up a little higher than 73.

Elevated levels of co2 are not going to be beneficial until every other parameter is maxed, then you create an environment for co2. Higher temps, higher lighting and higher EC.

I hear you on that higher temp but I’m working on a solution to keep my water below 70 degrees. I don’t have a chiller, just starting out.
Thanks for the tips

Maybe get them planted into some coco until you get everything you need.

Transplant from dwc to soil?
Makes sense I can’t provide the proper temp for these strains I have now.

Could I do that in coco? Then soil?

You can do soil… but the I recommend coco because the ph is the same and the AN nutes you are using work well in coco.
Also what you learn from coco can be applied to your hydro.

Is high coco temps a problem like water temp in DWC?

Nope, it’s no problem. Just maintain input and runoff ph and ppm.

Wow, that sounds a lot easier than this DWC crap I got going. Oh well. I went ahead and changed the water out and started from the beginning with the nutes and hydroguard and am at 300ppm and pH is 5.6.
Turns out my pH reader was giving me false reads so got a new one.
My levels were way off! I’m surprised they are not dead after what I put these girls through.
Anyhow I’m going to go all in on Dwc and finish soon or later.
If I’m successful I will stick with DWC. If not I’m going coco with my other 5 seeds I have.
Thanks for everything

A good ph pen and ec pen are absolute musts for hydro. It’s critical these parameters stay acceptable, things will go south quickly! Glad you got it figured out!

You have any recommendations on which pen to get?

I use bluelabs, a lot of guys around here use apera.
Make sure you pick up some calibration solution and storage solution.

ways want some of that on hand.

Ok will do Thanks again and if you don’t mind I may be messaging you about the coco in the near future :joy:
