Newbie Q's about looks over substance

Hi I’m a first time grower that will have help from a seasoned vet if I do happen to run into any issues. My question is this, I would like to grow something that is absolutely visually stunning. Something that pops!!! Colorful. Do you have any recommendations of maybe a favorite particular strain? Also do any of the “Blue” strains actually end up being that blue? Anything would help. Awaiting any helpful replies so I can order and thanks.

P.S. ill be growing outside in a Washington desert climate. Thanks again

Even if you ordered a strain that was advertised as a colored strain, you may not get one that color. It’s just genetics, some have it some don’t. Cooler Temperatures will bring out colors also.

Theres a handful of natural purple/reds out there devil/ black cream, BlackBerry, purple lemonade, and red poison

Sadly yes,

It’s all about the genes. You can force the last few weeks to be in much cooler temps
to boost the color but there isn’t any guarantees. You’ll grow 10 plants and only 1 will
POP with color.

For colors the temp deal is real, @imSICKkid told us that raising the PH to around 10 (the plant won’t like it I think) will also change the colors.

I’ve been experimenting with 15-20 degree temperature swings and have not seen any effect. I’ve grown in cold weather where I’m fighting off freezing weather in the fall and no big color changes. I Don’t believe that temperature has anything to do with it.

My latest experiments involve pH stresses. Low pH feedings the last 2-3 weeks brings our red. High pH feedings last 2-3 weeks bring out blue. If you want purple… you need Purpinator.
