Hi newbie here. I feel like they are ready to harvest but want a second opinion before I start chopping. I planted around March/April. I still see a lot of white hairs but trichromes are a mix of clear, cloudy, and amber. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I’ve never harvested before because I’m on my first grow. But I personally would wait till the pistils are brown and trichomes are cloudy with amber

That’s the thing I have all three of those things going on. I had planned on Friday being the d-day for the harvest but so unsure if it’s really ready or not because I’m seeing all three of of those things. The bud are huge on these plants and it’s a tease lol

I would just keep an eye on the trichs and see how they look on Friday it all depends on the high your looking for. They say clear trichs give a more paranoid high cloudy trichs more of an uplifted high amber is couchlock

Thanks for the feedback. I like any high. I just want to make sure I don’t mess up. I’ve got a lot of time into this and found my new favorite hobby. Next round is going to be way different.

Are the amber on the bud / calyx or sugar leaves? Sugar leaves will have amber trichomes before the calyx. I suspect they are on the sugar leaves given how many white pistils there are.
Have you backed off nutrients?
How are your ph numbers for feed/water and runoff?

I believe they are on the sugar leaves. Yes haven’t been using nutrients for two weeks now. Last time I checked ph is was at 6.
If they were mine, I would feed again. Don’t want them wasting away and consuming itself this early.
I am close to the same point as you are with my current crop. I fed them yesterday. It may be the last one.

Looks like some foxtailing going on. How’re your temps?
Did you just flush, or water only recently? Many times they’ll start throwing out white pistils after getting “cleaned out”.
They look close. I’d follow the advice of another feeding and then reassess.
