Hello 420 fam! First time grower in need of advice and guidance. What should I change and/or add to my set-up & grow process? Which PH water tester do you guys recommend? I’m in Wisconsin, so outside grow is not an option LOL
•Set up: in spare room. 70°F, 50% - 6% humidity
•Soil: equal amount of potting mix & peat moss (current soil PH 6.6) Should I bring it down?
•Pot: 5 gallon grow bags
•Fertilizer: Bergman’s
Equipment:
•Lights: Aukphie Full Spectrum led Grow (35W I think) - seeding & Veg stage. Newbie error, def got the wrong lights, but it was a good start.
•Barrina BU 2000 LED Grow Light (200W) - flowering stage & will use the same light setup moving forward from beginning to end unless someone suggests otherwise.
•Temperature Humidity Meters
•AgoKud Soil PH Meter, 4-in-1
•6L Humidifiers by Tumisue
Zkittlez & Wedding Cake: sow 1/02. I messed up the WC by cutting some fan leaves during the veg stage & it seems that by doing so I’ve forced the flowering stage to start earlier than normal & it stunt the growth
Zkittlez is growing strong & it just entered the flowering stage.
White Widow- sow 1/30. All 3 WW have a different result so far. One is growing well, the 2nd WW didn’t grow that many leaves (not wide) & it entered the flowering stage super early, the 3rd WW is struggling with growth & the leaves are also curling (I believe I had the tripod grow lights too close during veg stage). How do I fix that problem.
I want solid & dense buds! LOL

Had a typo, humidity is between 50 - 60%
Firstly, Welcome to ILGM! Your new happy place lol.
Now… the plants. They look decent. Healthy growth, no signs of deficiency.
The one with the taco’n leaves does look like she’s environmentally/light intensity stressed. Not sure how you could adjust without negatively affecting the others. Maybe booster seats for the healthy plants and adjusting light height/intensity? Id probably just let it suffer for the good of the majority.
With everything flowering whenever they please, I assume you are growing autos?
Also I saw ur light is 200w at the wall. How big is your grow space? The single biggest difference between ok nugs and dense babeball like colas is lighting. Typically you want 50w per square foot of space in flower. 35-40w if you have the newer LEDs/QBs.
As for pH meter: the Apera 20 is worth its weight in gold. I cant recommend it enough (or the Apera 60 if your have a few extra bucks)

Hey @JMSXYDR1 , Welcome to the forum.
I will start add a little. Like Purp says Lighting is the key to growing dense buds.
Your lights will grow weed but if you are seriously wanting better product then you will need to buy better lights. Also autoflowers are not the best for dense buds. Typically the genetics will grow a looser bud. Not always, but more often than not. Quality has nothing to do with dense buds though. Its just aesthetics. Denser buds weigh more, but they may not be as strong as a looser one. Its just another quality like color or smell.

Thank you for the reply. I’ve moved the taco leaf to the floor, so is now 48" from the light vs the others that are on the stand about 20-25" from the light. My grow space is a bit less than 3x3’
