I’m finishing up my Autoflowers and when they’re done I’ll be scrogging out my two photoperiod NYCD’s when auto harvest comes within a week or two. Then flip.
They’re going on 3 months veg right now and are kind of out of control. (Not fully though)Lol
Just wondering if there is anything that YouTube videos won’t tell me that you guys can.
Working with a 10x5 with two sf4000s(not sure if any of that matters)
I think it’s a little easier if you start when they’re small, but it’s too late for that now. Other than that, wait to feed silica until your done tying if your going to add silica. The silica will make the branches rigid and hard which is nice when you want it to support a bunch of heavy buds, but not so great when your trying to bend and train branches. They have a tendency to break.
looking good bro. They will start standing back up tomorrow so you might have to come back and make some adjustments over the next few days. I get a little crazy sometimes and tie every last little branch, but for the most part what matters is keeping everything close to the same plane.
I will definitely be keeping a close eye on them and making adjustments when and where theyre needed. I think when they fill out the trellis completely im flipping. Seems like the most logical thing to do since the whole point is to use every ray of light right?
light is only part of the equation. There are also benefits to the limited stress involved in bending and manipulating the branches. Then there is my favorite it also helps to control hormone production and distribution.
If it was my grow I would flip soon. She will fill in the net in the first few weeks of flower. I usually continue to train until the stretch stops. Then I allow it all to grow up.
@Gl1tch @StonedCold13
Well it took a good long 3 or 4 hours of defoliation and pruning on my back under a trellis but she looks so much better than she did before. 1 down 1 to go. And that was the easy one. Lol.
Growmie, thats the closest representation of my plant i have seen so far. Lmao.
Im hoping that i get rewarded nicely. With enough love and care i think theyll turn out very nicely for a first time trellis. Thank you for the compliments!
Thank you very much! I put a lot of love, time, passion, and care into these girls. They’re my first little experiment/project that i started with an extended veg then thrown into a trellis. Im looking to see if the extra month of veg is worth the time compared to what i would receive from a regular photo period timeline.
