New to autoflowers. Second run

Im new to growing. On my second run. I thought id order some seeds from a seed bank, also my first order ever. This one is Banana Kush. Last time i posted a picture of it, it was recommended that i discard it lol but i kept it going and this is what it looks like today. Its six weeks old. Im not sure what to think of it but damn it smells so damn good!! What do my fellow grow buddies think?? I don’t know crap about autos and i guess it depends on the genetics?

It looks light starved,
I don’t know about those upper leaves

why were you adviced to discard it?
Which seedbank did you order from?

Well i was told it was a wast of time and i ordered from true north seed bank. Out of Canada lol

Well it’s not gonna produce much that’s probably why

but at the end of the day it’s up to you what to do
and mistakes are unavoidable when growing, I am on my second grow myself
I started
2 Di sweet DOS photos
1 big bud
1 purple lemonade
1 gorilla glue auto
1 moby Dick auto

What’s your set up like?

im no pro myself but it does look like it has some serious genetic mutations. It wont produce much at all and at this point I dont think it even has any learning potential. I personally killed my first 4 seedlings within 2 weeks. My advice is dont get discouraged and keep on growing.

Autos can be fussy, they are on their own internal clock and when things go wrong there’s no time to fix it.
Glad you made it a run, I’m sure you learned a lot from it.

Do you know a brand or type of lighting like led, florescent etc…? Wanna get more of a feel on your set up so that I can get better understanding and what soil are you using? And glad you didn’t give up on it sometimes making the best from a bad situation turnes out to be surprising id say… just learn and never stop growing growmie

I was advised to discard it because it was preflowering very shortly after seedling stage and it wouldn’t be worth time and effort lol I ordered this and three others from True North Seed Bank.

My set up is 2x2 grow area with one light no bigger than 12×12 100w grow light. I was able to flower and harvest from that one light. Temps and watering have been well monitored i just figured genetics? But man does it smell amazing!

How many plants do you run each grow?

Maybe I can’t say for sure I’m not that knowledgeable

Learning from my first grow, im only growing a few. One Blueberry which is from the same seed bank and three local bag seeds but those are for learning and experimenting reasons.

nice, I advice you buy another light when you have the opportunity or when you think you have learned enough from seed bags and are ready to buy from seedbanks

I too started with a 200 watts light for 4 autos but ended up buying another one

So now I run 2×200watts(I plan to run from 2 plant up to 6 depending on if I want multiple strains or not)
I was lucky and got a nice discount on them

ideally you want 200 watts of quality lights per plant but that’s not to say you can’t get good results if you don’t have them

Good luck on your journey growmie :call_me_hand:t2::call_me_hand:t2:
