Thank you kind sir! Got the ph sitting 5.9 now at 6 weeks from seed, ppms are low tho only 800 ppm so I’ll start my flower solution at the same rate and go from there

mine are about the same bud, one thing i wont be guilty of is burning my plants… 110’f today, going to relax on the grow front, got a lot done yesterday… 
… my misses gets to choose some clones though… out of the veg tote… how I wish to be in her position as a first grow… nice organic soil made up good genetics.
everyone always posts ‘how do I grow the most weed…’ I always answer the same…
outside full sun safe… spend the time at the beginning making up a good complete soil and that’s your baby for a month… there are brilliant recipes here for free! I never say dwc… so complicated so knife edge… I… love it! 
nobody wants to spend $100 and it took me and my wife an hour in 100’ heat and it wasn’t that bad … and more then enough for 4, 20 gallon pots… plus as I said her tomatoes etc… so she gets half the plants of a tote…
but as we learnt from the other post people have an ability to act like children… don’t take it personally bud… man it was funny reading like 2-3 days all at once, I was like wat the eff… this isn’t the photo of the month contest…lol

Thanks I’m finally putting the time back into making it work, which is all it really is…time
I spend a few hours every morning before work and after work on the garden. My wife gets the nice end of the deal also… she germinates seeds and makes edibles with the trimming everything between that is where I put in work 
Yea I don’t understand not wanting to spend $ from some people, maybe after a decent harvest they will think differently. I like building what I can to save $ but if it’s needed then that’s that.
I’ve had some outdoor plant that grew into monsters, so I agree there, if you want yield grow outdoor and let it do what it’s gotta do

yeah me too, the best for a first time and it can be the best weed… quality wise… you just can tell, we are splitting hairs… but its why we are bothering to have hundreds of liters perfectly controlled solution in a perfect environment… what could possibly go wrong with that…

id say you should have a healthy appetite for work if you want to set up perpetual in general and dwc its another layer of work… .
in the end I want to set it all up as self supporting as possible, but there is always that one thing, yesterday the chiller chord was bumped out and I was like what the… 
so much building and unbuilding, I like that, I don’t like that… your getting close to being happy I can tell…

I’ve been looking into a nutrient / ph controller for the grow but can’t find anything that’s on a small scale for what I’m doing here

Everything I buy , I get 3 of 
It’s nice to do it once but then I’ve got to duplicate the results over each tent.
So when I buy a light system, I multiple it by 3. Exhaust and so on
It’s refreshing to speak to someone who knows the time and effort, hard work, that’s involved to create and maintain this type of system

pwwweeeeeewww remember you found me on that other thread, I had a set up similar to yours… I will end up using all the bits but that was a tough on to swallow…
check out bluelab NZ made… the other thing you can try that I may use… just because I have an old one (from the sam place as the chiller, and I have the dosing part) is an aquarium system, like
be careful here because you can spend a lot of your monies… aquarium industry isn’t much different to the weed industry, but you will realise you can control fans, chillers, humidifiers, dosers… u name it… 
I do the same… I now have 3 ‘loud’ 80 lpm air pumps… 
it is a lot of work though… but when its going good… omg…

@kettle those ghl dosers are exactly the direction I want to go.
I want to eventually make an exterior closet to house all the electronics and controllers and this will seriously minimize my setup to a few controllers
also you can segment large chunks of work… when its al going good I don’t touch it for days while im there… then more automation 
we’ll get there…
just MORE work… tinkering… every six weeks… outside, once

it can replace so many controllers… looks painful to set up, the guy who set it up before was a computer programmer…

thank you for steering me in this direction, I would of never of thought aquarium monitors for these things… even though most my other parts come from those types of things, and plumbing

its where I get my experience from… Gre8 hobby but , expensive, heavy, lots of work, full of perils, 
so im doing dwc instead but at least you get high and look at plants… … and ill get back there… never saltwater again…
I talk to my fish tank buddies about this stuff a lot… now I run a dirty system it has a lot in common, I try to get information from everyone…
the growth is insane man… I looked at some photos and I was like that was 19 days ago… and I had grown outside a lot and I really wanted to dive in…

Ok so I’ve gotten a little distracted by another project I forget to keep this one updated… LOTS going on
So… flipped off lights at about 7 weeks from seed breaking ground. Going to bring that back for a 12/12 cycle tomorrow. Then I’ll do a flush and reservoir change at that time also
Got the autopot setup going, and a thread going about them that was completely unexpected.
Agent orange are going great and in about 3-4 weeks I’ll flip this to flower also, at that time I will separate the strongest plant and spray it with silver colloidal.
Grease monkey somehow survived but you can tell they aren’t going to be producing much
