This defoliation not only allows for air to flow better between the buckets and the plants but also promotes vertical growth as a defense mechanism.

Ok so busy busy week for the girls lots of trimming of undergrowth and some tying down of a weaker plant to help it save its space.

If not the bigger plants will push thru that area and well then it wouldn’t be any point to keep it.

Seeing these all came from the same group of seeds, it’s becoming easier to spot which is genetically stronger

Agent orange seedlings are doing great in their new homes and are perking up, finally got some roots under them I’m guessing.

Added 4 gallons of water to the hydro setup

700 ppm
68.7 degrees
6.41 ph

Gh trio at:

Grow 6 tsp
Micro 4 tsp
Bloom 2 tsp
Platinum 2 tsp
Hydro guard 2 tsp
Cal/mag 2 tsp

I like to keep ph around 6.4-6.5 in veg to keep from have calcium issues…

Also if your noticing my numbers look kind of low it’s because the last feed was a little heavy at 1,400 ppm. So I halved the numbers I used last time which are gh recommended dosing per gallon… it may be a bit much for veg but I’ll get there with flower

Add 6 tsp of tap water to the soil

200 ppm
58 degrees
6.5 ph

Our tap water is naturally high in nitrogen so it’s fantastic for vegn plants in soil.

I have never been able to run their reccomend amount without burning everything up. I generally run about 1/4 strength

Always wondered if anyone actually did run what they recommend, after I add everything else I’m around 450-480 before platinum, cal/mag and hydro guard. Then I can easily get to 600-700 ppm.

That’s at half the recommended strength. I do 1/4 strength at the start.

I’ll boost to 3/4 recommended strength for bloom

I do full strength on Hydrogaurd, CalMag, ArmorSi, and Diamond Nectar. Gro, Bloom, and Kool Bloom @1/4 strength. I use GH Maxi series. It’s powdered, and therefore cost less.

Aight so this week I will start to reduce the ph levels. The girls are coming up on 6 weeks from germinating and showing no I’ll signs. Time to also up the nutrients levels from 600-700 to 800-900 and steadily raise till we start painting those nails for flower.

4 gals r/o added
5.5 ph (which should even the tanks out between 6-6.2 ph)-I’ll double check that after work but shouldn’t cause any issues as the current ph was 6.5

Gh flora series
2tsp bloom
4tsp micro
6tsp grow
2tsp cal/mag
2tsp diamond
2tsp hydro gaurd
40ml terp plus (found at local grow shop) figured I’d give it a go

Germinated 4 gorilla zkittlez to eventually cross breed with the agent orange.

2 of the Zkittles broke thru shells and out the rapid rooters over night. Husk have been shedded off nicely and carefully removed from area to not cause any issues

Agent orange

Have each been given 1/4 cup of mild 200ppm nitrogen rich water. They are doing well in ther 7 gallon pots and I’m deciding wether or not to pull out a hydro setup to install a autopot system into on tent for shits and giggles and maybe eventual side by side comparisons between a rdwc, undercurrent and a autopot system

Grease monkey

Snowed in soil over the weekend. They have lived a rough life and I’m just hoping we can save atleast one. My wife got the seeds from a friend who fell on hard times and started doing some sketchy stuff so we truly aren’t even sure if he was being upfront about what he was offering her… oh well a seeds a seed even if it’s a mystery.

2 out of 7 of those germinated, leaving her with a ill feeling about them, where when we germinated the zkittles 5 out of 5 germinated

Agent orange 4 out of 5
Chem dawg/ chem Fire 5 out of 5

So results show its most likely not her

Aight so don’t get sick around here cus no one will know what to do with your ā€œscience experimentsā€ā€¦

Been laid out on the couch only able to help others in between periods of night quil comas.

Lost co2 in one tent and had the girls drink more water then nutrients causing a ph spike and a bit of canoeing of the leaves.

Replaced co2, took care of ph levels, double checked ppms in water which were surprisingly sitting at 640 something with a ph of 7 something which scared the piss outta me.

Maybe I should log information down in the grow Incase something happens where I’m down for more then a few days… ffs

Ph is again being balanced and reduced to a more moderate hydro level… 6.4 this morning and will gradually reduce it over the next two weeks to about 5.8 hopefully.

Week 6 of veg for chem dawg, two weeks until a flush of the system and then to begin its slow increase of ppm from 750 - nuclear waste.

Ph 6.4
Ppm 700
Co2 1300-1600

I’ll add some pictures in a bit

I made a new cloner box real quick as I was defoliating some of the girls about to flip to flower.

Found my old cloner box is currently full of mother plants.
