Any chance you have critters like field mice digging around in there? For whatever reason the5 love digging around in pots if around. This could explain stress plant has seen too.
No absolutely nothing like that brother, it’s just when I water the soil sinks massively and creates holes I’ve had to top dress them a couple of times
@dbrn32 Could that be caused by not “settling the soil” (watering the soil and gently tapping the pot on the ground) while prepping the soil, before planting a seed or transplanting? My understand is settling the soil will remove excess air pockets. @Se7en Did you do any soil settling or something?
@Twelve1 nope i did none of that at all
Not totally true. If you treat with beneficial microbes regularly, they often will help stave off infection long enough to get her to the finish line. Can say with confidence- I’ve have a couple hydroponic plants with root rot.
@Graysin awesome I’ll have to get some of those! Do you think following this top feeding chart is why she looks the way she looks now? Maybe too much For autos?
h
In general, autos prefer less nutes than photos.
@Twelve1 yeahhhh think I’m starting to see this now
@Graysin @dbrn32 @Newt @Twelve1 so by quite a few peoples advice I’m doing another proper flush, (don’t think I run enough through her last time) and I’m checking the run off PH, and it’s around 5 (on the ph strips as don’t have a meter that’s calibrated) could that be part of the problem?
Perhaps. But a better way to test the soil pH is by doing a slurry test of some soil taken from the root zone.
Yeah I did that yesterday on the other one at it read between 6-7 which I think is normal right?
7 is neutral, but it will change over time based on the nutrients and or water that may remain in the soil at any given time. It shouldn’t be allowed to drop much below 6.5.
@Newt i get you thank you! I’ll do another slurry test tomorrow on both and see where we’re at, do you know how to calibrate digital ph meters?
Each is different. But for mine you put it in calibrate mode and set it with two different reference solutions.
@Newt okay thanks bro
Hope all the best for you and your grow brother watching along quiet often and hope they will recover quick
@DMTom thanks growmie They still seem to be producing very slowly so will see how goes
Here we are this morning, I’m thinking they’re looking much better colour wise, is it normal for growth to slow down at this early flowering stage? Or is that something I’ve caused @Graysin @dbrn32 @Twelve1 @OhioIndoorGrower @Newt

Are you asking in regards to height of plant? If so, yes. Once you start getting flowers plants are pretty much gone “growing” by that definition. There will be new growth in terms of leaves, flower sites, and development of flowers though.
