Yep, cider vinegar, peroxide, and neem oil all help with wpm.
Peroxide is about 1/4 cup in a 16oz spray bottle. Problem with most over the counter products for fungicide is that they all contain some sort of oil. Soybean being the most common. There may be a few other things in with it, but soybean oil is the primary ingredient. I prefer neem oil, which is good for other things too.
Alright so I got rid of the powder mildew, and have still continued in 12/12 but still am seeing no signs of budding really and it’s a month in, am I doing something wrong or what’s going on here
Update: I’m noticing now there are bud sites forming now with the white hairs starting to really show, with how long it took to even start forming I’m curious how long it may actually take to get to harvest, I’m due for a watering tomorrow, so was wondering if there’s anything I could add to help give the girls some boost in producing the flowers, super excited and cant wait to find out how these girls turn out. Went from a green tea smell to starting to get that skunky smell back again, still on 12/12 weekly feeding of fox farms grow big and big bloom, thinking I may try adding the tiger bloom again since I’m noticing the buds forming hopefully the girls react nicely, and should I move up the amount of feedings I’m doing? Would love feedback so far of what everyone has to say on what I can do different and or tweak, first time grow has turned out to be quite a learning experience
A month into 12-12 or from seed? Plants wont flower until sexually mature. She looks about the right size.
Autos however are mischievous to say the least. They’ll flower as they please. Honestly I wouldnt even flirt with the idea of flipping back to 18/6. Let her ride on 12-12 and plan for harvest around…. Christmas? 10ish weeks. Smokable by New Years
A month Into 12/12 both the girls are coming along nicely now
@PurpNGold74 how do these girls look? Coming along pretty nicely for their growth and bud development so far In my opinion
Looking frosty! They are coming on along.
The light intensity maybe a tad low (stretchy) and looks like u topped a tad too late into flower in a few spots… but pretty nicely grown so far
One spot got topped cause of when I went to move it a little to check I squeezed and it broke the stems support making it just hang down, light intensity is running at 70% but there is alot of frost coming in still,
Also they have been getting a quarter rotation daily to keep light hitting them evenly, my issue is they’ve gotten tall enough to where I’m under a foot distance between the light and the plants which is why the light intensity is down to 70% instead of 100% got worried I was gonna cook the plants with them at full blast that close to the light
Depends on the light. What are u running again? N how big is the space?
Viparspectra p1000, they are in a 4x4x6 tent but only taking up 2x4 of space with the light right in the middle of both of the canopy area
Is it too late into the grow to add another light? I just bought a rspec 100 by hlg and was curious if I could add it in now or finish this grow out and add it for the next? @Covertgrower @PurpNGold74 @Flitme
Never too late!
I added in over one plant and moved my other light to above the other, unsure if I should move it further it’s definitely a bit brighter than the other light I had, p1000 viparspectra, which now sits above my bushier plant and the rspec 100 above the more stretchy girl
Had to rig the lighting up with Paracord, but both lights now sit around 12 inches from the top of the canopy
Never to late to add light!! Your plants will love you for it.
Here’s some updated pics of the girls under the new light and the old one together they are reacting pretty nicely so far I think only 3 going on 4 days in since adding and they both seem happier, working on getting this clone to flower in a solo cup just to add that under my belt as far as growing as well. she’s starting to get her hairs in already only about 2 weeks in under the same light schedule as the mother
Got frost forming already! Love this prt… smells get crazy, buttons everywhere, fun times indeed!
@PurpNGold74 smells are definitely crazy one gives a bit of a lemon/citrus smell mixed with some serious skunk the others giving a very strong fruity pebbles kinda smell, hoping to get a decent yield off these 2 girls, any tips for what I could change with them as they sit now? I feel like I should have taken off a good chunk of branches that are a little over halfway up the plant cause the rest of the canopy is all fairly even in height but there’s a good little bit that’s sitting lower than the rest on both plants, changed the feed schedule to water water feed instead of water feed water feed
